Research On Innovation Of R&D Management Mode In W Company

Scientific and reasonable R&D management mode can improve the efficiency of R&D activities,reduce the cost or expense in R&D,and improve the return of investment.And it is an important source for an enterprise to obtain competitive advantage in long-term.Therefore,it is of great significance to establish a research and development management mode that fitting the situation of the enterprise itself to improve the enterprise.W Company is a provider of crystal growth equipment and system solutions for the semiconductor industry.Although the company's research and development center has been established for many years,but it has problems below.First,R&D activities do not match the needs of customers,and the return on investment in R&D activities is relatively low.Second,there is no separation of evaluation,assessment and development activities in project management.Third the implementation of the company's R&D management model lacks th e support of information systems and human resources tools.Fourth,the company's R&D mode can't support the strategy in W.In this thesis it studied the relevant theories of R&D management and the R&D management modes commonly used at home and abroad.After analyzing the current mainstream R&D management modes in industry,considering W Company's strategic positioning,it construct the R&D management mode of integrated product development for W Company,also it optimizes the market management,demand management,product development process,after that it specify the content and index for the process.At the same time,for the problems existing in the R&D management of W Company,it optimizes and promotes project management,R&D team,performance.At the end of this thesis,the effectiveness of integrated product development R&D management model is evaluated by its application in S-300 project.W company is a typical representative of small and medium-sized sci-tech enterprises,the theoretical research and case analysis of this thesis hope to provide reference of R&D management mode innovation for similar enterprises.
