| With the rise of women in the workplace,the academic community has also started to study corporate gender diversity,and the impact of gender characteristics of senior executives on corporate strategic decisions is a hot topic.Women have kindness and moral character,and the performance of philanthropic responsibility as a feature of female executive decisionmaking should be discussed.Based on the high ladder theory,this paper explores the influence mechanism of the characteristics of female executives on the fulfillment of corporate philanthropic responsibilities by assisting the governance theory of female executives and the related theories of philanthropic donation.According to the classification method of executive characteristics,the characteristics of female executives are divided into two categories: the existential characteristics of female executives and the background characteristics of female executives.At the same time,the moderating effect of marketization degree and media exposure on the influence of female executives on philanthropic responsibility were investigated.The second chapter is mainly about the definition of related concepts,the methods of variable measurement and the previous research results,and finally the literature review.The third chapter is the mechanism research on the influence of the characteristics of female executives on the performance of corporate philanthropic responsibility.Chapter 4 and chapter 5 classify and describe the variables,and test the hypothesis with stata15.0.The sixth chapter summarizes the research conclusion,and puts forward to the insufficiency and the prospect.After empirical testing,the conclusion of this paper is as follows: firstly,the characteristics of female executives have a significant positive impact on the performance of corporate philanthropic responsibility.Secondly,the degree of marketization positively regulates the positive influence of the characteristics of female executives on the performance of corporate philanthropic responsibilities.Thirdly,media exposure positively moderates the positive impact of female executives’ characteristics on the fulfillment of corporate philanthropic responsibilities.The innovation of this study lies in the detailed classification of the characteristics of female executives,which combines the advantages of women in the performance of corporate philanthropic responsibility and the influence of internal and external environment on the decision-making of female executives.It is hoped that the conclusion of this study can provide experience for the gender diversity of corporate executives and the fulfillment of corporate philanthropic responsibilities. |
