Since the 1980 s,China’s manufacturing industry has gradually joined the global economic development through the window of opening up to the outside world, and has become an indispensable part of the world trading system, making China a "world factory".However, behind this rapid development,China’s manufacturing industry has not simultaneously reached the requirements of high-end position in the global value chain, but because of the continuous development and face increasingly severe resource environment pressure and rising labor costs, and so on,into the low-end lock-up in the capture value chain. Therefore,it is an important research direction to analyze the position of China’s manufacturing industry in the global value chain, explore the next development path, and seek possible methods to go beyond the capture value chain.Against the backdrop of the "One Belt and One Road" initiative, new opportunities have been opened up to move beyond the capture value chain. At the same time,"Made in China 2025" also emphasizes the important role of manufacturing in the current supply-side reforms, which provide a new opportunity for China’s manufacturing industry to move beyond the capture value chain.Based on this, this paper takes China’s manufacturing industry as the research object.First of all,it analyzes its current situation and positioning in the global value chain, and clarifies the current development. Then from the theoretical level of analysis, respectively, the participation, scientific and technological level, the degree of opening up and the "One Belt and One Road" initiative on the impact of the capture value chain of the theoretical mechanism, and on the basis of this analysis put forward the hypothesis. In the empirical research, this paper selects the effective panel data of 13 sub-sectors of manufacturing industry from 2005 to 2017,and takes the global value chain status index, which can be used to measure the status of the capture value chain,as the explanatory variable, the participation, the level of science and technology and the degree of opening up to the outside world,as well as the "Belt and Road" virtual variables as the explanatory variables, and analyzes the factors that affect China’s manufacturing industry beyond the captured value chain. The measurement methods of differential GMM and system GMM are used to analyze these factors step by step. From the regression coefficient and significance of the results, the results are investigated, and the influence of participation, science and technology level, degree of opening-up and "Belt and Road" on the transcendence of the capture value chain is judged. The results show that participation and level of science and technology have a significant role in promoting China’s manufacturing industry beyond the captive value chain, both of which promote China’s manufacturing industry beyond the capture value chain to almost the same degree, the degree of openness also plays a significant role in the transcendence of the capture value chain, but the symbol is opposite to the expectation, the paper gives two possible reasons, and the influence of "One Belt and One Road" as a virtual variable, the empirical results also show that the interpreted variables have a significant significant effect.Production scale can also promote the capture value chain to a certain extent. Finally, combined with the above empirical results and analysis, the future focus of China’s manufacturing industry beyond the capture value chain has given possible direction, including actively embedding the global value chain, improving the level of science and technology, perfecting policy guidance, building a new regional value chain and promoting international capacity cooperation.
