Research On The Impact Of Trade Facilitation On Chinese Manufacturing Export To EU

Since the 21 st century,the economic and trade relations between China and the EU have been developed at a great lick with China's entry into the World Trade Organization,and the trade scale also has expanded rapidly.In the process of deepening cooperation,tariffs and non-tariff barriers have less and less influence to further expand bilateral trade scale,while the continuous improvement of the infrastructure and economic and trade agreements between China and the EU makes trade facilitation gradually become a new driving force for the development of China's foreign trade.Trade facilitation is to create a transparent,coordinated and normalized trading environment by improving infrastructure,enhancing customs clearance efficiency,improving foreign trade regime and business conditions.Based on this,this paper takes trade facilitation as the starting point to study its impact on China's manufactured products exported to the EU,which is of important practical significance for improving the trade environment and expanding the scale of manufacturing trade between China and the EU.This paper takes the influence of trade facilitation on China's manufacturing exports to the EU as the main line of the study.Firstly,on the basis of expounding the concept of trade facilitation,the paper discusses the function mechanism of specific measures of trade facilitation impacting on China's export trade.Secondly,the export status of China's manufactured products to the eu is analyzed from three aspects: export scale,export structure and export region;then,according to the business conditions of China and Europe and the characteristics of manufacturing productstrade,facilitation assessment system is innovatively established by selecting infrastructure,customs clearance efficiency,institutional environment and business environment four level indicators,as well as the corresponding 16 secondary indexes,applying the principal component analysis calculates trade facilitation level between China and EU countries in 2007-2018,and this section also analyze the dynamic relationship between trade facilitation and China's manufacturing export volumes.Followed by furtherempirical analysis on trade effect of trade facilitation,with the introduction of trade facilitation,market openness and other variables to construct extended trade gravity model,from the scale of the export products and technology structure export products two aspects analyzes the trade facilitation effect on China's manufacturing exports,then drawing empirical conclusions: the one is that trade facilitation has a significant promotion effect on China's manufacturing exports,in particular,the import country's infrastructure and customs clearance efficiency have a stronger auxo-action;the two is that the improvement of trade facilitation generally has a positive effect on the manufacturing exports at different technological levels,but its influence is different.Finally,based upon the above research conclusions,the paper proposes relevant policy suggesstion on how to improve the level of trade facilitation between China and the EU and optimize the export structure of manufactured products,so as to promote more harmonious economic and trade cooperation between the two sides.
