As the scientific nature and the important contribution of lean management to business management innovation are gradually confirmed,more and more enterprise managers begin to learn lean management,introduce the ideas and methods of lean management into enterprises,and explore the achievement of development.However,although this method has achieved a number of outstanding enterprises,a large number of enterprises have failed.The main reason is that the lean management ideas and methods are not "fit" with the enterprise management innovation process,as a result,management innovation of enterprise encounters great resistance and will not achieve an expected results.Therefore,in the current practice of enterprise lean management innovation,there is an urgent need for an effective method to judge whether the lean tools used by the enterprise are fit with the management innovation process in which the enterprise is located.Based on this,this study first analyzes the main influencing factors of the fitness between lean tools and management innovation processes,and then builds a measurement model for measuring the fitness of lean tools and management innovation processes.The measurement problem is transformed into the calculation of the distance between the point set of the performance of the lean tool and the point set of the characteristics of the management innovation process.At the same time,this study applies three lean management practice of companies to take case study,in order to test whether the measurement model constructed by this study is effective,and to provide some management suggestions for the practice of lean tools implementation in enterprise management innovation.The research results show that:(1)the perceived ease of use and usefulness of lean tools by participants in lean management innovation practices will affect the fitness between lean tools and management innovation processes,so the measurement model should integrate the two dimensions to measure the fitness between lean tools and management innovation processes.(2)Based on the theory of geometric algebra,the measurement can be realized by converting the problem of measuring the fitnessof between lean tools and the management innovation process into the calculation of the distance between the point set of lean tool and the point set of management innovation process.(3)Through case studies,it shows that the measurement model constructed in this study is scientific and effective.In the process of implementing management innovation through applying lean tools,enterprises should select fitted lean tools according to the specific characteristics of the management innovation process,so as to better ensure the adaptation of lean tools to management innovation a processes and achieve better innovation performance.
