| With the rapid economic development,the consumption level of urban residents in our country has been greatly improved,and the variety of commodities has been greatly enriched.However,due to factors such as factor endowment,regional differences,and policy tilt,there are huge differences in economic development in the eastern,central,western,and northeast regions,and problems such as consumption levels and uneven regional development of consumption structure.This paper studies the characteristics of the consumption structure of urban residents in eastern,central,western and northeastern China,analyzes regional differences in consumption structure and influencing factors,and provides suggestions for reducing regional differences and promoting the optimization of regional consumption structure.In this article,first of all,the research methods and contents of domestic and foreign scholars on the consumption structure are summarized.Second,the consumption expenditures of the four regions in the east,middle,west,and northeast of China and the eight major types of consumption expenditures are compared and analyzed.Introduced indicators such as the consumption structure index and generalized entropy.The in-depth analysis and demonstration of the development characteristics and inter-regional differences of the consumption structure of the four major regions,and finally analyzed the mechanism basis of industrial structure,population structure,education level and income on the consumption structure of urban residents in different regions.Above,the influence degree of each factor on the consumption structure of urban residents in different regions was analyzed using a panel data model.The results of the study show that: First,urban residents in the eastern region have greater expenditures on food,housing,transportation and communications,household equipment,education,culture,and entertainment services than those in the central,western,and northeast regions.Central and western regions;second,the residential spending of urban residents in the eastern,central,western,and northeast regions increased the fastest;third,the proportion of urban residents’ survival data in the eastern,central,western,and northeast regions gradually decreased,and development and enjoyment data The proportion is increasing year by year.Third,the consumption structure of urban residents in China is constantly upgrading,but there are still regional differences.The eastern region has the highest degree of optimization of the consumption structure and the lowest in the west.Fourth,the industrial structure,population structure,education level,and per capita disposable income.There are regional differences in the degree of influence on the consumption structure of urban residents in the four major regions of China.Therefore,the formulation of policies to stimulate consumption should be regionally targeted. |
