| Based on the data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in2012, the China’s gross domestic product (GDP) have grown more than7.8%then last year, and consumption contributes more than51.8%in this growth. Consumption as one of the "troika" to the national economy, has an important impact on national economic growth. This paper uses a series of classic consumption function model to analyze urban residents’ consumption influencing factors and research the consumption of urban residents in China’s interregional differences.First, we use the consumption function model to analyze the influencing factors of China’s urban residents’ consumption in1990-2011. Compare the differences of consumption functions, found that income is still the main impact factor of consumption. Introduce rates and income uncertainty on the impact of consumption to analysis the relationship between income and consume. We found at2000and2004points are different to others.Secondly, on the basis of analysis consumer influencing factors. cluster analyze theory is used to compare the consumption of urban residents in China’s interregional differences, and regional differences in consumption changes. Due to the political, economic, and cultural differences, the consumption of urban residents in China also shows to the economically underdeveloped western regional changes in the economically developed eastern regions with similar levels of economic development showed a higher consumption similarity.Finally, using the panel data model (Panel Data) to analyze the differences in the consumption of urban residents. The result shows that the first three parts of the highest spontaneous consumption is Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Beijing, and the lowest is Xinjiang, Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia; highest marginal propensity on consume is Guangdong, the urban residents average marginal propensity to consume is0.64. According to the results of the analysis proposed to increase the consumer and promote economic development policies and proposals. |
