With the changing of the social background,new generation employees have paid more attentions on self-value.In order to improve management system of organizations,the relation between career growth and organizational commitment of new generation employees are imperative to be studied.In this paper,the career growth and the organizational commitment of new generation employees are studied by using empirical investigation based on the four-dimensional career growth and the five-dimensional organizational commitment models and scales.The reliability and the validity of sample data are verified by using homogeneity reliability,exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis.The main contents of this paper are:The variance effects of group characteristics on career growth dimensions are analyzed.It can be found that the reword growth of male employees is higher than that of female;The variances of professional ability development and reword growth in new generation employees with different ages are significant;The education level also has a significant effect on professional ability development;The new generation employees in human resource department have a higher career growth level.The variance effects of group characteristics on organizational commitment dimensions are studied.It can be shown that the economic commitment level and the choice commitment level of female employees are higher than those of male employees;The variances of new generation employees' organizational commitment with different ages are mainly on affective commitment and normative commitment;The education level has a major effect on ideal commitment and choice commitment;The levels of affective commitment,normative commitment,ideal commitment and economic commitment of common laborers are minimum,but their choice commitment level is maximal;The organizational commitment level of employees in human resource department are higher than employees in other departments.The effects of career growth dimensions on organizational commitment dimensions are studied by using linear regression method.It can be found that career goal progress,professional ability development and promotion rate have positive correlation with affective commitment;Professional ability development,promotion rate and reword growth also positively affect normative commitment;The relation of career goal progress,professional ability development,promotion rate dimensions and economic commitment are positive;Choice commitment are increased with the increasing of promotion rate and reword growth,however,choice commitment is negatively affected by professional ability development.The employee management advises are proposed based on the conclusions of career growth and organizational commitment empirical investigation: employee management system on strategical level should be established;Correct value sense ought to be built and spread,work style of organizational member is supposed to be ruled;Positive and decent organizational normal sense are also needed;Career of new generation employee should be programmed and managed;Vocational training,reward and promotion systems are needed to improved.This study could help organization understand the variance effect and relation of career growth and organizational commitment of new generation employees.It also can provide useful information to help organization improve management system.
