Research On The Relationship Between Circulation Innovation And Residents’ Consumption Structure Optimization

At present,the consumption concept,consumption behavior and consumption pattern of Chinese residents have changed with the increase of income.Under this circumstance,how to optimize the consumption structure of residents and upgrade their consumption in the true sense is a problem that must be solved to promote economic growth and realize my country’s comprehensive construction of a well-off society.As the intermediate link between production and consumption,the circulation industry’s development level and the change of residents’ demand are one of the important factors that affect the optimization of residents’ consumption structure.In this respect,as the main driving force for the development of the circulation industry,the circulation innovation,its technological progress,organizational innovation and its application level will also have a direct and indirect impact on the optimization of residents’ consumption structure.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the relationship between the circulation industry and the optimization of residents’ consumption structure from an innovation perspective.In the process of research,this paper on the topic of the research background,research significance,research ideas,the innovation and shortage are introduced in detail,and then from circulation innovation,the residents’ consumption structure optimization,innovation and consumer relevance three aspects to systematically review and summarize the literature and found that the current scholars less from empirical studies on relationship between innovation and residents’ consumption structure optimization.The third chapter analyzes the circulation innovation,the optimization of residents’ consumption structure and the relationship between them,and points out that the circulation innovation has direct and indirect influences on the optimization of residents’ consumption structure.Firstly,circulation innovation directly affects the optimization of residents’ consumption structure by improving circulation efficiency,reducing circulation cost and improving circulation system.Secondly,circulation innovation indirectly influences the optimization of household consumption structure by promoting economic growth and increasing residents’ income.The fourth chapter firstly uses DEAP2.1 software to calculate the total factor productivity and its decomposition efficiency of circulation in all provinces of China,and obtains the index to measure circulation innovation.Then,the ELES model is used to calculate the marginal propensity to consume and the elasticity of demand income,and then the index to measure the optimization of the consumption structure is obtained.Then to circulation index as the explained variable,total factor productivity and its decomposition to housing,transportation,communication,education,culture and other goods and services the sum of consumer spending accounts for the proportion of total consumer spending is as explained variable,with per capita income,urbanization level and per capita income as control variables,using STATA software panel model analysis.The results show that the circulation efficiency and technological progress can effectively promote the optimization of residents’ consumption structure,while the technical efficiency,organizational innovation and pure technical efficiency have no effect on the optimization of residents’ consumption structure.Then,2SLS,SYS-GMM and DIFF-GMM models were used to perform endogeneity test on the technical progress and circulation scale efficiency index in the basic model,and the results showed that both were endogenous explanatory variables affecting the optimization of household consumption structure.The results show that the promotion of circulation organization innovation is conducive to the optimization of residents’ consumption structure.The circulation efficiency,the circulation technical efficiency and the circulation pure technical efficiency were used to measure the degree of the circulation technology innovation application,and the SYS-GMM model was used for the robustness test.Finally,the government and enterprises the policy recommendations which promote the circulation of innovation and optimize the consumption structure.
