Research On The Sources Of Competitiveness Of Different Level Cities From The Perspective Of Urban Agglomeration Network

In the past,the research on urban competitiveness was mainly from the perspective of individual cities,focusing on competition and ignoring the influence of other relationships on urban competitiveness.Although the framework for research from the perspective of urban networks has been initially established,it still needs to be improved.When conducting research in cities,large,medium and small cities are often mixed together to conduct a comprehensive ranking of competitiveness,ignoring the differences in the nature of development of different cities.In view of this,this paper draws on the urban competitiveness conceptual model from the perspective of urban network,and takes the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration as the empirical objects to investigate the sources of competitiveness of different levels of cities.According to the development nature of different cities,this paper divides the cities in the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration into two levels: the core city and the general city from the perspective of the urban agglomeration network,respectively,and constructs a suitable competitiveness evaluation index system for them,and the competitiveness of different levels of cities is analyzed using interlocking network model,social network analysis,cluster analysis and grey relational method.The study found that the contribution of endogenous competitiveness in the source of competitiveness of the core cities of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration exceeds the exogenous competitiveness,the core cities of the Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration have the opposite sources of competitiveness,the source of competitiveness of the general cities in the Pearl River Delta and the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration is that the contribution of exogenous competitiveness exceeds the endogenous competitiveness;There is a strong correlation between endogenous competitiveness and exogenous competitiveness,and there is also a positive correlation between various internal and external factors of urban competitiveness.Finally,based on the conclusions,corresponding suggestions are put forward.
