Research On Sub-core Cities In Urban Agglomeration In Chian Under The Background Of Economic Globalization

Economic globalization has been a significant character and a inevitable trend of contemporary globle economy.With the rapid development of economic globalization,the whole world is gradually becoming a interdependent and interactional network,linked by capital,commodities,technology,services and information from different cities,in which cities are more interdependent and in a obvious leading or subordinating situation.As a result,it is very necessary to observe and analyse from globle persperctive for the research of urban agglomeration consisted by different kinds of cities.For the research of the development of sub-core cities in urban agglomeration in China,this paper starts with analizing all-round impact from economic globalization on regions and cities.In the disscution of impact of economic globalization ,this paper first analyses its character from aspect of business globalization, production globalization , trade globalization, financial globalization and regional economic integration; analyses its forming force from aspect of international productivity, global expansion of market economy and technological advance and analyses its impelling force from governments.Then deeper exposition is made about economic globalization which changes notion of regional competition, produces conditions for promoting or weekening regional competitive power, accelerates formation and development process of urban agglomeration and makes cities interconnected into globle network.At last,this paper illustrates that China was involved in the process of economic globalization.So the industrial structure of urban agglomeration can be influenced by FDI,Chinese cities are more dependent on outside economic connection and the status of the core and sub-core cities can be changed correspondely。 In order to make systematically research on urban agglomeration and its sub-core cities in China,this paper provides an overview of related theories.Firstly, foreign theories of urban agglomeration is classified into initial stage,flourish stage and maturity stage.Domestic theories of urban agglomeration is reviewed from different aspects and personal general comment is made.Secondly,based on concept discriminating of different city groups,this paper summarizes the concept and character of sub-core city.Thirdly,a comparison is made between two mayor theories of city group—urban agglomeration theory and metropolis circle theory.Lastly,for the deeper research,this paper overviews the domestic theories of economic integration which is sophisticated and directive in the research field of urban agglomeration.As the main objective of this paper,the research of development of sub-core cities in urban agglomeration in China is divided into four research process.The first step generally analyses the current situation of urban agglomeration at home and abroad,summarizes implications overseas and questions inland,and figure out those belong to sub-core cities in agglomeration in China by Primery-city-law. The second step pays attention to theoriotical inference of development pattern for sub-core cities in China.The inference begains with impact from economic globalization on sub-core cities of China,then analyses the law of spatial evolvement in urban agglomeration and the law of interaction between cities and its periphery.From that reasoning process,a conclusion can be reached that in the background of economic globalization sub-core cities in urban agglomeration in China ought to build economic drawing circle to integrate into urban agglomeration.The third step taking urban agglomeration in yangtze delta and pearl river delta region for example testifies the conclusion drawn above by using advanced data analysis tools and statistical data of GDP, urban population, investment in fixed assets and FDI in the selected year sessions.The fourth step mainly discusses the developmental pattern of sub-core cities in urban agglomeration in China.Based on thought over concept of"embedded",this paper put forward that sub-core cities ought to adopt"orientation,integration and embedded"pattern to build urban circles and with which be integrated in urban agglomeration in China.Then the pattern is fully discussed theorioticly from three aspects,which are developmental objective and orientation of sub-core cities, economic integration of urban circles build by sub-core cities and coordination mechanism of strengthening embedded process.It is very necessary for theoriotical disscution to be applied into practice.This paper chooses Circum-Bohai-Sea agglomeration and its sub-core city—Jinan city as study case,and uses developmental pattern discussed above layouting a planning for Jinan urban circle to be embedded in Circum-Bohai-Sea agglomeration.In this part,this paper first analyzes developmental situations for promoting Circum-Bohai-Sea agglomeration,analyzes advantages of Jinan urban circle which can be embedded in Circum-Bohai-Sea agglomeration and put forward the developmental objective and functional orientation of Jinan urban circle.For making a deeper scientific development planning,this paper systematically study the urban system,urban function,space structure and industrial development of Jinan urban circle. Based on that research,concerned advises is given for economic integration of Jinan urban circle.And in order to ensure the successful implement of the planning,this paper last gives advises in field of coordinating mechanism, policies and regulations,infrastructure construction for jinan urban circle.
