Study On Measurement And Influence Factors Of The Economic Connection In Hubao Eyu Urban Agglomeration

The essence of regional coordinated development is the process of interaction in the economic field.As the carrier of spatial agglomeration of elements,urban agglomeration has become an important engine of regional economic development.In the national new town planning(2014-2020),the 13 th five year plan and the report of the 19 th National Congress of the people's Republic of China,the great significance of the development of urban agglomerations is emphasized.In the 2019 central economic working conference,the strategy of improving the comprehensive bearing capacity of central cities and urban agglomerations is clearly put forward.Urban agglomerations are composed of adjacent or similar cities in the region.By improving the efficiency of production factor allocation,the density of cities with different scales and complementary functions is enhanced,and the radiation and driving role of regional economic growth pole is fully exerted.The economic connection between cities within a city cluster plays an important role in the formation of a city cluster,and it is the basis for realizing the coordinated development of a city cluster.Hubao Eyu urban agglomeration is located in the northwest of China,which is complementary in resource endowment and industrial structure.Since the 13 th five year plan was approved by the State Council for the first time,it is gradually becoming a new economic growth pole in northern China.In 2018,Hubao Eyu urban agglomeration made full use of its comparative advantages to form a coordinated development pattern of large and medium-sized cities,which has become a national strategy.However,compared with the developed urban agglomerations in China,Hubao Eyu region includes "two provinces and four cities".The urban distribution is sparse and in the "cultivation" stage.There are problems such as insufficient driving role of central cities,low correlation between cities,unbalanced development level and so on.The development mechanism is in the starting stage.How to improve the gathering and diffusion ability of urban agglomeration resources,promote the economic connection between cities,and form the economic pattern of coordinated development is a great challenge for Hubao Eyu urban agglomeration.Therefore,the evolution process,influencing factors and upgrading measures of the spatial economic pattern of Hubao Eyu urban agglomeration constitute the main content of this paper.First of all,the paper revises the traditional economic gravity model,uses SPSS to analyze the 22 indicators of Hubao and Eyu cities respectively,and obtains the "urban quality",takes the shortest time cost as the distance between cities,and obtains the strength and change trend of the internal economic ties of the city cluster in 2010-2017.The results show that with the improvement of urban quality and the improvement of traffic infrastructure,the internal economic ties of Hubao Eyu urban agglomeration have an increasing trend,but there is still a great space for improvement;in terms of space,there are regional differences in economic ties,among which Huhhot and Baotou are the most closely connected cities,Baotou and Ordos are the second,and the inter provincial cities are the most closely connected Weak,showing a pattern of strong in the north and weak in the South;with its own comparative advantages,the central city has a strong ability to attract and gather most of the resources,talents and market shares in the urban agglomeration,but the radiation effect is not obvious,the polarization effect is greater than the diffusion effect,which is not conducive to long-term sustainable development.Then,from the internal and external macro level of urban agglomeration,the paper makes qualitative and quantitative analysis on the influencing factors of the intensity of economic ties of Hubao Eyu urban agglomeration.It is found that the internal factors are the decisive factors in the pattern of economic ties of urban agglomerations,among which the comprehensive competitiveness of cities is positively related to the strength of economic ties;there is a gap in the export-oriented functions of urban industries;a certain degree of industrial complementarity can promote the strength of economic ties between cities,and provide guidance for further defining the development direction of urban mix.Among the external factors,the traffic convenience determines the convenience of the factor flow between cities,which is the basic condition for the establishment of the economic connection between cities;the improvement of the communication technology level provides the guarantee for the establishment of the economic connection between cities;the policy factor plays an important role in the cultivation stage of the urban agglomeration.Based on the above research results,this paper puts forward five suggestions for Hubao Eyu urban agglomeration from five aspects: clear urban positioning,strengthening infrastructure construction,promoting industrial linkage development,building a multi center urban pattern,and strengthening top-level design.
