Anhui province is located in the central part of China, which spans the yangtze river and the huai river. It is also one of the main provinces of the central rising strategy and the yangtze economic belt, and has an important strategic position in the economic and social development of our country.Since the globalization of economy, the conditions of urban transportation infrastructure are becoming more and more perfect, the factors of production between cities are constantly flowing, and the industrial structure is reconfigured. In this process, the city becomes the functional node of different levels on the regional and national scale, and the spatial economic connection of the city in the region directly reflects the regional economy to a certain extent development status and comprehensive competitiveness. Therefore, this paper makes a qualitative and quantitative study on the relationship between urban spatial economy and network structure in Anhui Province, and probes into the possible impact of urban spatial economic connection on economic efficiency in Anhui Province. This study first defines the concepts of urban space economic connection and economic efficiency.Through a lot of reading of relevant literature,it summarizes the progress and deficiencies of previous studies, and finds the entry point of this research.Second, according to the basic theories at home and abroad,it discusses from the theoretical level. The impact mechanism and path of economic relations between cities on economic efficiency;afterwards, attention turned to the measurement of urban economic efficiency and spatial economic relations, using the comprehensive time distance and comprehensive city quality to modify the traditional gravity model to the cities of Anhui Province In-depth systematic analysis of spatial economic relations and urban hierarchical structure;once again, based on the previous mechanism to build an empirical model to empirically study the impact of urban spatial economic relations on economic efficiency in Anhui Province;at the end of the study, based on the results of the study, put forward the future of urban economy in Anhui Province Develop targeted policy recommendations. The results of this study show that: first, close urban space economic relations can significantly promote the increase of total factor productivity, and urban space economic relations have a significant positive impact on their overall economic performance. The greater the spatial interaction between cities, the closer the economic links between cities will be.Second, investment in science and education has a significant role in promoting the improvement of urban economic efficiency. The increase in investment in science and education will lead to knowledge spillovers, raise human capital levels, and thus increase efficiency.Third, whether the industrial structure is reasonable or not will directly affect the improvement of economic efficiency, regional differences in urban areas, and provincial government policy preferences, etc.,will cause differences in industrial structures between different regions, and will also directly or indirectly affect regional economic efficiency The over-emphasis on the industrial structure of the proportion of tertiary industry has a negative impact on the total factor productivity of cities in Anhui Province.Fourth, the higher the degree of government intervention, the lower the overall economic efficiency of the city.Too much government intervention will cause economic growth in many ways, the most direct consequence of which is the distortion of resource allocation and the loss of efficiency. At present, whether the transformation of government functions can better play the role of the market in the allocation of resources is the key to improving economic efficiency.
