The Research On Warehouse Management Problems Of RZ Logistics Co.LTD

In recent years,with the spring up of the third party logistics(3PL),the market competition is getting fiercer.If these enterprises want a better development,they must improve their competitiveness.As an important part of the logistics,storage can provide cutomers with a variety of service.For example,3PL can provide the customers with storage,loading and unloading of goods,packaging,order classification,information,and other logistics services.In order to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises,they have to pay more attention to the problems of how to improve the efficiency of warehouse management.The rational layout of warehouse and slotting optimization are effective ways to improve the efficiency of warehousing operations.This thesis takes the enterprise RZ,a 3LP enterprise,as an example,analyses the problems in its warehouse management and optimizes its layout and the goods location to improve its warehousing efficiency.Firstly,the thesis summarizes the relevant theories of warehouse layout optimization,slotting optimization and storage safety management.Secondly,it mainly analyzes the present situation of enterprise RZ in warehouse management and finds the main reasons of the inefficient warehousing operation by the fishone chart,which are unreasonable warehouse layout,unreasonable goods location and frequent accidents.And then it makes in-depth analysis on these problems.Thirdly,this thesis puts forwad some measures to solve the existing problems in the warehousing management of RZ.And it uses SLP(Systematic Layout Planning)to make the layout of warehouse reasonable,By considering the comprehensive relationship among the operating areas in the warehouse,this thesis adjust the position of each operation area to realize the reasonable layout of the warehouse.And the comparison of the total operating volume in the warehouse before and after the optimization is carried out to verify the effectiveness of the SLP method in the warehouse layout.The ABC Classification which has two or more indicators is used to optimize the goods location.The goods are classified based on the two indicators of logistics quantity and turnover rate,and then stored by using classified storage strategy.Finally,according to the existing security problems in the warehouse,it can reduces the frequency of accidents effectively by the improvement of the goods stacking,fire safety and safety management system.Based on the theories and practices,the thesis applies the knowledge of warehouse management to an actual enterprise.It improves the efficiency of the warehouse operation by reasonable layput,slotting optimization and related safety management.
