Human resources as the intangible assets have become more and more influence on the enterprises under the background of “Knowledge Society”.For any enterprise which is either in the cycle of early development,growth or maturity,how to utilize and manage the internal human resources well is an inevitable question for any enterprise.Human resources management should be paid more attention by enterprises,which not only includes the selection and training of talents,but it’s critically important to retain the key talents.As the core of modern human resource management,motivation aims to stimulate people’s needs and motivation so that people’s internal motivation can move forward towards the expected goal.Nowadays,Knowledge workers are the valuable assets of enterprises.There’s another important issue which enterprises need to face is how to motivate knowledge staffs,allow them to take their ownership and initiate so that the general operation results will be enhanced and make the enterprises sustainable developed.Therefore,for any enterprise in any life cycle,it’s particular important to establish a set of scientific motivation system with organic combination of enterprises’ strategy objectives and business models.The T Company studied in this paper is a Contract Research Company enterprise that focuses mainly on the data management and statistical analysis of clinical researches at the early and middle stage of development.Due to the rather shorter time of its establishment,there is not a complete set of scientific and effective management mechanism in the enterprise,especially the imperfection of the motivation system,which makes it difficult for the knowledge staffs to exert their subjective initiative and ability,let alone improve the overall operating.To solving these problems is critically urgent for the further development of T enterprises.After reviewing the domestic and foreign advanced motivation theory and combing interviews and online investigation,through the analyzes the present situation of T company’s motivation system,it is found that there are some issues four major categories which are salary system,performance appraisal,training system and career management of knowledge staffs in T Company.On this basis,using the theory and tools of industrial and commercial management,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the status of T Company and puts forward corresponding motivation system improvement programs and suggestions.The research results in this paper can be used as a reference for T Company to improve the motivation system internally and to enhance the motivation function of knowledge staffs.
