Abstract/Summary:
In recent years,the international trade and investment and the IT industry are more and more globalized,many foreign-owned IT enterprises have built wholly-owned or joint venture factories in China.These enterprises depend on the international human resource management concepts,and adopt a humanized management,an open corporate culture and rich IT skills training and employee benefit to attract a large number of Chinese local IT talents.However,with the gradual saturation of domestic business in foreign-owned enterprises,unaccustomed of some foreign-owned enterprises in employee incentive management has gradually been exposed.The cultural differences of the enterprises and the particularity of Chinese IT market environment have had an impact on the incentive management effectiveness of foreign-owned enterprises,and the brain drain has become increasingly serious.In the face of increasing competition for IT talents and the shortage of top IT technology talents,how can enterprises use effective incentive management mechanisms to attract talents,retain talents,stimulate talent creativity,and enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises?This paper takes the employee incentive management of American-owned IT company-FD company as the research object,with the description of the three typical cases of the resignation of young engineers,the slack at work of the project leader and the collective complaint of employees,and uses the relevant incentive theory along with company’s incentive management status,domestic IT environment and company characteristics to do detailed analysis.The research draws out the main problems of FD company in employee incentive management,they are the lack of competitiveness of the salary system,the simple career development path and the lack of incentive culture.Finally,the countermeasures and recommendations are formulated from three aspects: improving the salary system structure,improving the career management mechanism and strengthening the enterprise incentive culture.With the implementation of corresponding countermeasures and recommendations,FD employees’ employee incentive management problems can be effectively improved,thereby enhancing FD company’s competitiveness in the IT industry,improving employee loyalty and reducing brain drain.In the end,FD company will achieve the sustainable development in China,and achieve the purpose of the joint growth of employees and enterprises.
