Research On Supplier Evaluation Of CRRC Group Centralized Procurement

With the development of global economic integration and an increasingly fierce market competition in the 21st century,the supplier management is no longer limited to its original procurement management.The value and role of suppliers in supply chain management has been confirmed and generally recognized by enterprises in reality.Whether supplier selection is appropriate or not will directly affect the cost of production and the quality level of final products.Therefore,enterprises need to establish a set of indicators and methods for supplier evaluation in combination with their own management model and operating characteristics.In order to reduce procurement costs and further improve procurement management on the premise of ensuring the quality of procurement materials,an integrated competitive power can be generally improved by optimizing and constructing the whole supply chain.In response to the request of SASAC,CRRC Corporation Limited as a leading enterprise group in railway equipment industry authorize CRRC Logistics,a subsidiary of the Group,carrying out 1^stlevel centralized purchasing within the Group starting from the year of 2016.Herein CRRC could promote the reconstruction of the new purchasing management system by means of information technology,and build a“sunshine procurement”with the characters of centralization,efficiency,and transparency.This paper focus on supplier evaluation of CRRC Group centralized procurement.By referring to relevant literature from the theory of supplier evaluation theory,entropy method combining with own buyer experience,this paper deeply analyses the current status and shortcomings of centralized procurement in supplier evaluation.After sorting out attainable purchasing information in hands and investigating manufactures actual operation,a set of quantifiable indicators for centralized procurement can be obtained and collected.Thenceforth,the entropy method is applied to set up a basic model of supplier evaluation.Finally,the result of supplier evaluation is verified and implemented into practice.The achievements of this paper are as followings:firstly,a set of quantifiable indicators is established for the supplier evaluation.secondly,entropy weight method as an objective weighting method is applied into supplier evaluation model set-up.thirdly,the evaluation result can be further used into supplier hierarchical and dynamic management after the validity check.,so as to effectively promote the construction of supply channel optimization.
