Comparison Of Export Competitiveness Of Aquatic Products Between Vietnam And China

China and Vietnam,as neighbors of each other,have certain similarities in terms of resource endowment and industrial hierarchy,especially in the export trade of aquatic products.Vietnam ’s national economic development is inseparable from the support of the aquatic product export industry,but Vietnam is facing intense competitive pressure from the Chinese aquatic product export industry.It is very necessary for the Vietnamese aquatic product export industry to analyze and summarize the competitive advantages of itself and its competitors,especially China.Vietnam should identify the shortcomings and deficiencies of the development of its own aquatic product export industry and solve them as soon as possible,in order to consolidate its own competitive advantage and realize the healthy and long-term development of the Vietnamese aquatic product export industry.This thesis compared the export scale and structure of the aquatic products of the two countries,as well as the main markets and exporters.At the same time,this thesis choose the competitiveness measurement indicators-trade competition index,explicit comparative advantage index and market share to measure the export competitiveness of the two countries’ aquatic products.Then this thesis used the diamond model to make a qualitative analysis of the influencing factors of export competitiveness of China-Vietnam aquatic products and build a multiple linear regression model of influencing factors of international competitiveness is established to analyze the correlation and influence degree of indicators.After the analysis of this thesis,we can understand the difference in export competitiveness of aquatic products between China and Vietnam in the world market.It is conducive to the formulation of policies and market development by the governments,industries and aquatic product exporting enterprises of China and Vietnam,and therefore it has significant practical significance.
