Economic development, transportation first, transportation is the pioneer and commander to guide the overall coordinated development of the region.Transportation and economic development are closely linked. The two promote and restrict each other. The coupling between the two affects the steady development of the economy. As one of the most important growth poles in China, the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration has become a national strategy at this stage, emphasizing that transportation is the support guarantee for economic development, coordinating the construction of regional transportation infrastructure, building interconnection and division of labor The integrated and integrated transportation system of cooperation is the key task of current economic development. Therefore, based on the actual situation of the urban agglomeration of the Yangtze River Delta, this article explores the coupling relationship between regional transportation and regional economy from the perspective of the urban agglomeration.By measuring the level of urban transportation and regional economic development in the urban agglomerations of the Yangtze River Delta, exploring the coupling and coordination of the two and the reasons for the differences,so as to improve the role of transportation in promoting economic development, and guide and accelerate the development of economic integration in the Yangtze River Delta. This paper studies the coupling relationship between the transportation and regional economy of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration, focusing on the analysis of the following issues: 1.The transportation and economic development of 27 cities in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration.2.Coupling and coordinated evolution law of 27 cities in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration and regional economy.Based on the above problems, this paper first analyzes the related concepts of transportation and regional economy, reviews the relevant theories of transportation and regional economy, and deeply explores the mechanism of the interaction between transportation and regional economy;secondly, from transportation resources, transportation scale, economic scale, efficiency,A total of 24 indicators in five levels of the structure were built to evaluate the comprehensive indicator system of transportation and regional economy.Taking the panel data of each city as a sample, based on the development status of each city,an empirical analysis of the development pattern of transportation and regional economy was conducted;finally passed Construct a transportation-regional economic coupling coordination model, measure the coupling coordination degree of the two,and use the relative development degree to find the cause of the coupling coordination difference, and explore the spatial and temporal evolution of the coupling coordination degree of 27 cities in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration through spatial visualization. The empirical results show that: 1.The economic development level of each city in the Yangtze River Delta city group has been continuously improved, and regional differences in economic development levels are obvious. It is divided into four echelons according to the level of economic development. The first echelon is Shanghai, and the second echelon is Nanjing,Hangzhou,Ningbo, etc.Provincial or sub-provincial cities, the third echelon is the cities of the north and south wings of the Yangtze River Delta, and the fourth echelon is the cities in the western region of the Yangtze River Delta. The economic development gap of most cities in each echelon has been narrowed, and the degree of regional economic equilibrium has increased, forming economic development areas with the first and second echelons as the core.2.The development level of transportation in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration has shown an increasing trend, but the gap in the level of transportation between cities has further expanded. The first and second echelon centers are leading the transportation level, while the third and fourth echelon cities have lower levels of transportation, showing spatial distribution characteristics of east high west low and south high north.3.The degree of coupling and coordination between transportation and economy of the echelon in the Yangtze River Delta city group has been continuously improved, but the level of coupling and coordination is low,and regional differences in coupling and coordination degree are significant.Among them,Shanghai is the high-quality coordination, and most cities in the second echelon are of coordinated rising type. Most of the cities in the third echelon are on the verge of imbalanced transition, and the fourth echelon cities are imbalanced decline types, forming a spatial pattern of high east to low west, low south to high north, low edge in the middle, and higher coastal areas than inland cities.4.The analysis of relative development shows that the development of transportation can promote the development of the regional economy. Most cities in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration have gradually transformed from a simultaneous transportation economy to a lagging transportation economy. At this stage, the lag of transportation is restricting the further development of the regional economy. One of the main factors. Finally, based on the analysis results, the transportation infrastructure construction of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration will be promoted and tractioned, taking into account the effectiveness.Rate and fairness, and put forward policy suggestions for the integration of the Yangtze River Delta.
