This thesis takes the advanced product quality planning process of Company B as the research object,the international technical specification IATF16949 and the Advanced Product Quality Planning process of current Automotive industry quality management as the practical basis,plus process setting up logic and requirement from Ford and Volkswagen,combing the background and current situation of the advanced product quality planning process of Company B,and summarizing Company B during implementation of advanced product quality planning,there're some problems,such as insufficient response to regional differences in production sites,unclear definition of responsibility,single downward information transmission,lack of phasing control.The reason for the problems is analyzed as: advanced product quality planning process is not consistent with running project structure.In general,this thesis has deep dived into the APQP process from theoretical and practical perspective,given the learning from such practice,improvement proposals were made on both dimensions,whose reliability and effectiveness were further validated through real in-project implementation.The problems identified in this thesis are the ones truly exist in Company B.Based on the benefit analysis before and after process optimization,it highlights the improvement of customer satisfaction,cost reduction and corporation culture within the organization.This thesis is based on three steps to solve the problem: putting forward the problem,analyzing the problem and solving the problem.Based on the in-depth diagnosis of the existing product quality planning process of company B,this thesis establishes the operation strategy after optimizing the process,so as to improve the management level of company B in project quality management,improve the company image,and improve customer satisfaction and trust.This would enhance the competitiveness of the company.What's more,a reliable and effective APQP is not equal to constant.In order to ensure the continues effectiveness of the process,this thesis puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for continuous optimization of processes and continuous training of employees under PDCA cycle,as well as structural guarantee measures for process oriented by objective management and guarantee measures for standardization of management documents.The wish of this thesis is to minimize the problem of project delay or not on target which would be caused by advanced product quality planning process and running project structure not consistent.
