As the pillar industry of the national economy,the construction industry has an irreplaceable position and has made outstanding contributions to China's economic development and socialist modernization.However,with the improvement of material conditions and the improvement of people's living standards,the working environment of the construction industry,as a traditional production industry,has not changed much.The majority of the working people in the construction industry are still facing the wind,the sun,the cold and the heat.It has become a normal life that the accommodation is simple,far away from home,staying up late to work overtime.Being in such a hard and boring working environment for a long time is bound to have a negative impact on the psychological conditions of the employees of the construction enterprises.When the working environment is difficult to be greatly improved,it is particularly important to give humanistic care to employees.Employee assistance program(EAP),as a long-term and systematic work support project,takes a series of life and work assistance measures to reduce employees' mental pressure,create a good working atmosphere and improve enterprise performance by consulting and diagnosing employees' mental health.In this study,aiming at the problems of insufficient care and high pressure of employees in the construction industry,taking s construction company as an example,through a large number of literature review and induction,employee help plan is selected to solve the existing problems.Through the questionnaire survey and analysis of the mental health status of the employees of s construction company,it is found that the main sources of the mental pressure of the employees are work pressure,family pressure,health pressure and interpersonal pressure,and the employees are eager to get help in the aspects of work and life coordination,children's company and education,career planning,etc.According to the demands of employees,the implementation plan,service content and service mechanism of employee help plan are established.The implementation of EAP plan is promoted by building a multi-dimensional employee care platform,carrying out publicity lectures and other measures.Finally,the results are evaluated.It is found that employees have greatly improved their mental health awareness,mental pressure tolerance,interpersonal communication ability,etc.Meanwhile,s The turnover rate of construction companies has also declined to some extent.This study is a successful exploration of employee assistance program in large-scale construction enterprises.The implementation process and methods of EAP program can provide reference and guidance for construction enterprises or other industries to carry out application research.
