Mechanism And Test Between Input Service An Export Technology Complexity In Manufactur Industry

With the development of intra industry trade and the deepening of global value chain division,China has realized the continuous expansion of export trade scale and the growth of economic aggregate with the advantage of abundant natural resources and cheap labor force.However,the domestic added value and technology content of domestic export products are not high,and they have not achieved the same proportion of growth with the export scale.At the same time,they are also facing the low-end "solidification" of the value chain position.Therefore,changing the trade development mode,increasing the export technology content and upgrading the export technology of China's manufacturing industry are becoming the top priority of China's export trade.With the continuous development of producer services,its role in promoting economic development is more and more obvious,and the interaction between producer services and manufacturing industry is more and more frequent,"manufacturing service" is born.The 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed that "support the optimization and upgrading of traditional industries,promote the deep integration of advanced manufacturing industry and modern service industry,and promote China's industry to the middle and high end of the global value chain".Service has become one of the important development strategies for the upgrading of manufacturing industry.Service factor,as an intermediate input factor,will bring advanced knowledge and technology as well as advanced human capital to manufacturing enterprises,which will make the scale economy,scope economy and business innovation more efficient,and is conducive to the continuous refinement of manufacturing industry chain and the cultivation of core technology,so as to improve the efficiency level of manufacturing industry and ultimately promote the development of manufacturing industry Upgrading and improvement of international status.In order to investigate the relationship between input service and export technology complexity of manufacturing industry,this paper first discusses the research background and significance of the research,and further clarifies the content arrangement of each chapter;secondly,it reviews and comments on the literature related to this topic,aiming to confirm the issues to be studied in this paper more accurately through the study of predecessors The content of this part is mainly from four aspects,respectively from the perspective of manufacturing services,manufacturing export technology complexity and the existing relevant research of the two at this stage.Finally,review the existing literature as a whole,and get the research of this paper.Next,on the research issues of this paper,first define the main concepts,and then the corresponding theoretical basis.This paper estimates the input service level and the export technology complexity level of China's manufacturing industry as a whole and the manufacturing industry classified by factor intensity respectively On the basis of theoretical analysis,this paper puts forward the hypothesis and conducts empirical test.Furthermore,in order to clarify the possible channels of the two,this paper discusses the influence mechanism of input service on the complex export technology of manufacturing industry from the perspective of technological innovation channels,considering that the effect of input service on different industries through technological innovation may be different due to the different factor intensity of the industry,and at the same time,it tests the technological innovation channels according to the factor intensity Finally,based on the empirical results,the paper summarizes the conclusions and puts forward corresponding policy recommendations.The results show that:(1)the input service of manufacturing industry can significantly promote the export technology complexity,and has different effects on the industries with different factor intensity.The effect on the export technology complexity of technology intensive and capital intensive manufacturing industry is greater than that of labor-intensive manufacturing industry.Moreover,the results of two-stage least square regression and GMM estimation are still robust.(2)Input service can have a significant impact on the overall export technology complexity of manufacturing industry through the intermediary effect of technological innovation,and the effect of input service on manufacturing industry through technological innovation channels is different for different factor intensity.Capital intensive and labor-intensive manufacturing industry can have a positive impact on its export technology complexity through the intermediary channel of technological innovation,However,the intermediary effect of technology innovation in technology intensive manufacturing industry is not significant.
