Research On The Development Status And Countermeasures Of Plateau Summer Vegetables In Xicha Town Of Lanzhou New District

The 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has charted the major decision roadmap for implementing the strategy of rural revitalization in an all-round way which is aiming at scoring a deep and integrated development of the primary,secondary and tertiary industry.Industrial revitalization represents the backbone of rural revitalization and only a sound rural industrial development will secure the scientific,sustainable and sound development of rural revitalization.Lanzhou New Area redoubles its effort to boost the modern agriculture and to regulate and optimize current agricultural planting mode.Based on the existing agricultural tech innovation base and platform,Lanzhou New Area harnesses the resource advantage and acts in compliance with the momentum of special industry so as to promote scaled and centralized development and implement whole industrial chain advancement featuring from the fields to the tables,in line with the requirements of high profits,new species,new technologies and new modes.Built on the plateau summer vegetable production realities of Xicha Town,Lanzhou New Area,this thesis makes an investigation on the agriculture planting of eight villages administrated by Xicha Town,focused on the planting measures,crop types,planting area and yield of plateau summer vegetable in the four villages respectively Xianzi Village,Tuanzhuang Village,Manwan Village and Chenjiajing Village.And then,it chooses the representative case of Guohua Planting Base for analysis and puts forward solutions to boost plateau summer vegetable industry of Xicha Town.1.Taking the Xicha town as the basic unit,data related to upland summer vegetable cultivation were collected through field visits,literature review,and data compilation.It was analyzed that the current local upland summer vegetable cultivation pattern is the family planting pattern;Xicha town’s vegetable acreage from 2014 to 2019 were counted at 28,000 mu,29,000 mu,33,000 mu,26,000 mu,27,000 mu,and 12,600 mu respectively.The main types of summer vegetables grown in the plateau are broccoli,pine flowers,sweet crispy beans,babycabbage,and green cabbage.The yields of these vegetables are 1-1.15(tons/mu)of sweet crispy beans,4-5(tons/mu)of baby cabbage,1.25-2.5(tons/mu)of broccoli,and 1.5(tons/mu)of green cabbage,2.25(tons/mu)of pine flowers.2.The current situation of the development of highland summer vegetables in Xicha town was analyzed and the problems that hinder the development of highland summer vegetables in Xicha town were identified as follows: the planting areas are not concentrated,low scale;monoculture and serious land contiguity;low level of agricultural facilities;cold chain infrastructure underdeveloped,lack of deep vegetable processing enterprises;narrow marketing channels,low market coverage,etc.3.On the case of Guohua Farmers’ Cooperative in Lanzhou New Area,it uses modern agricultural facility and adopts the production mode of "cooperative+base",proving it is actually suitable for the development of plateau summer vegetable planting in Xicha Town of Lanzhou New Area.4.It proposes to change the original family-based production mode in Xicha Town to gradually build new one "leading enterprises+cooperative+base+peasant household";establishes a plateau summer vegetable planting base,and scores the integrated development of the whole industrial chain featuring "high quality planting-deep product processing-socialized service".
