In the world's manufacturing industry,Aviation industry is the development engine and treated as the pearl on the crown.With the successful commercial operation of COMAC ARJ21 regional airplane,the first successful flight of C919 single channel large aircraft,and the successful launch of CR929 wide body airplane,China is steadily promoting the development of large aircraft strategy.With the vigorous development of China's aviation market,H company's China avionics R&D business department actively cooperates with China's aviation manufacturing enterprises,colleges and universities,and research institutions to carry out a variety of business projects.As a key component supplier of China's C919 airplane,it has provided strong technical support and close business cooperation for the R&D and manufacturing of China's C919 aircraft.In this paper,mature lean production management methods will be deployed and promoted to product R&D,especially for the characteristics of aviation products.Considering the future of China's aviation market,upgrade the lean management system suitable for the characteristics of avionics product R&D,and enhance the core competitiveness of H company is necessary.Lean management has special pertinence and adaptability for the high-tech content,high reliability assurance,high quality requirements of aviation products and the unique production organization feature of low volume and small variety in aviation manufacturing industry.This paper analyzes and studies the current R&D process and management status of China avionics R&D business division of H company,and puts forward the R&D management system and solutions based on the lean management theory according to the existing problems of R&D center and the characteristics of aviation product development.Firstly,focus on strategic goal design based on lean R&D management,daily R&D team operation,project process management and Lean Innovation tools and methods.And the composition,factors,tools and methods of lean R&D management process are described in detail.Then,it discusses the implementation way and evaluation method of lean R&D management of new design.Finally,through the example of the project,the effect of the implementation of the new lean R&D management process is tracked and suggestions for continuous improvement are put forward.
