With the development of tourism in Qinghai Province,the prosperity of hotel industry and the increasing number of hotels,service is the last weapon for hotel enterprises to win in today's increasingly serious homogenization of hotel products.The demand for staff is also growing.In order to improve the hotel's market reaction ability and enhance the organization's overall competitiveness,the formation of the organization's core competitiveness will come from the competency of employees,which is the research of this study Background.Employee competency is an important part of human resource management in enterprises.Improving employee competency is of great significance to improve the management level and performance of employees.Competency model is currently widely used in enterprise human resources management as an effective management mode,which plays an important role in the daily management of enterprises.This paper combs the current situation of QH Hotel staff management.Firstly,it analyses the basic situation of QH Hotel,including its business,facilities and services.Secondly,it analyses the current situation of human resources in QH Hotel,mainly analyses the structure of department allocation,educational background,age structure and title structure of employees,and also analyses the advantages and disadvantages.This paper analyses the problems existing in QH Hotel staff management.These problems mainly include: old employees can not be competent for new posts,the integration of ordinary employees recruited from outside is poor,and the post competence of technical staff does not match.This paper analyses the reasons for the problems in QH Hotel staff management.These reasons include: the mechanism of employee recruitment is not scientific enough,employee performance management system is not perfect,and the training of employees lacks pertinence.This paper constructs the competency model of QH Hotel staff.Firstly,the necessity of building employee competency model is analyzed;secondly,the steps of building employee competency model are analyzed;finally,on this basis,the construction is carried out,mainly including the division of job sequence,the selection of competency model,the confirmation of core competency factors,the confirmation of universal competency factors,and the confirmation of professional competency factors.This paper studies the application of QH Hotel employee competency model.Employee competency model can be mainly used in personnel recruitment,performance management and staff training.To recruit talents based on competency model,we should design recruitment information,design selection tools,train interviewers and obtain competency information.The performance management based on competency model should be based on competency and carry out performance planning,performance execution,performance evaluation and application of results.Employee training based on competency model should do a good job of training needs analysis,formulate and implement training plans,and evaluate training effectiveness.This study is conducive to QH Hotel to improve the level of human resources management and the overall level of hotel governance,while providing a reference for human resources management in the hotel industry.
