| According to UNCOMTRADE database,in 2011,China ’s total exports to countries along the "Belt and Road" route were approximately US $ 371.5 billion, and high-tech product exports were approximately US $ 77.6 billion, accounting for 20.88%of China ’s total exports to sample countries. In 2018,China’s total exports to sample countries increased to 550.3 billion US dollars,high-tech product exports increased to 139.2 billion US dollars,high-tech product exports accounted for 25.30%of total exports.High-tech products account for a large proportion of China’s total exports to countries along the "Belt and Road".Therefore,it is of theoretical and practical significance to analyze the influencing factors of such exportsAnalyzing China’s export growth of high-tech products to countries along the "Belt and Road",it was found that China’s overall export value of high-tech products in sample countries showed an upward trend.Analyzing high-tech products export by category, the proportion of Computer and Communication Technology Products is more than 60%,and the export value from 2011 to 2018 generally shows an upward trend.Analyzing the development of innovation capabilities in China and the sample countries reveals that between 2011 and 2018,China’s innovation capabilities have improved while the overall innovation capabilities of the sample countries have remained steady. The difference in innovation capacity between China and the sample countries has expanded.Besides, fewer countries did better than China in innovationThis article uses fixed-effects model and GMM model to carry out regression analysis on China’s exports of high-tech products to 40 countries along the "Belt and Road"GDP,population, innovation ability, the difference of innovation ability, logistics performance have a positive impact, while bilateral exchange rates and geographic distance have a negative impact. The main explanatory variable innovation capacity of importing countries will have a positive impact, probably because foreign technological capital enters China through foreign direct investment, which promotes the increase of China’s high-tech product exports. The difference in innovation capacity has a positive effect because the development of China’s innovation capacity can lead to the improvement of product value and the reduction of product cost.In response to the empirical analysis results, this article puts forward three suggestions.First, implement the innovation-driven development strategy.Second, the government should increase investment related to innovation and create a good innovation environment to improve China’s innovation capability.Third, improve China’s logistics performance. |
