The Definition Of Metropolitan Area Based On The Urban (district) Spatial Quality And Gravitational Level

With the advancement of urbanization,the level of economic development has been continuously improved,the city has radiated centrifugally,and the social and economic ties with the surrounding areas have become closer.The urban-rural boundary has become blurred,with one-day cycles of education,employment,entertainment,and medical care.The functional area of activities such as business and business exceeds the scope of urban built-up areas.At this time,it is necessary to establish the concept of economic function and regional orientation to adapt to the changes in the scope of social activities.The urban economic function area reflects the actual geographical scope of the city,including not only the urban built-up area.The scope also includes the periphery of the city that is closely related to the social economy of the built-up area.The metropolitan area is a concept of economic function.The emergence of metropolitan areas marks the beginning of a new stage of urbanization in China.Its research significance is that the spatial scope has broken through the boundaries of administrative divisions,which has changed the spatial form and scale of urban areas,and promoted labor,capital and industry in the region.The flow of factors to improve the level of regional social and economic integration.Therefore,this article takes the Xixian urban agglomeration as an example to study and define the Xi'an metropolitan area,which is beneficial to integrate various production and material elements resources of Xi'an and Xianyang,and promote the complementary functional advantages of each other.At the same time,the government can learn from and better plan urban development.Promote the integrated development of regional infrastructure,industry,market,resources and environment,and policy systems,and improve the level of social and economic integration of Xixian urban agglomerations.Based on the "city first degree" connotation and "gravity model" theory,the principle of urban space quality gravitation under the city's first degree is proposed,the concept of metropolitan area scope under the concept of urban first degree is discussed,the urban gravity model is improved,and the definition of metropolitan area is constructed.Spatial quality path and indicator system,using survey research and website collection to obtain data,processing data by SPSS and EXCEL software,conducting principal component analysis,measuring the central city of Xi'an metropolitan area and surrounding districts and counties(secondary city)The level of interaction gravity is an exploratory study of the spatial extent of the Xi'an metropolitan area.Studies suggest that:(1)Based on the principle of urban space quality gravitation under the city's first degree,the spatial scope of Xi'an metropolitan area is defined as clear and effective.Introduce the concept of urban first degree,determine the central city of Xi'an metropolitan area,measure the level of spatial interaction between the central city of metropolitan area and surrounding districts and counties,and define the typical metropolitan area formed around the first city.(2)Based on the principle of urban space quality gravitation under the city's first degree,the Xi'an metropolitan area is defined as Xi'an main city(Lianhu District,Xincheng District,Beilin District,Weiyang District,Yanta District,Yanqiao District).The central cities,including Chang'an District,Linyi District,Yanliang District,Handan District,Wucheng District,Gaoling District,Zhouzhi County,Qindu District,Yangling District,Xingping City,Lantian County,which have close social and economic links with the central city,The geographical space consisting of 16 districts and counties such as Ganxian County,Shuyang County,Sanyuan County,Wugong County and Liquan County has a total area of 15 districts and 7 counties.(3)The spatial interaction level between the central city of Xi'an metropolitan area and the surrounding counties is divided into four levels: strong contact,strong contact,general contact and weak contact.(4)Compared with Professor Wang Xingzhong's earliest research on Xi'an daily urban system and Xi'an metropolitan area,this paper has different research methods.Based on the principle of urban space quality gravitation under the city's first degree,the city gravity model is used to define the scope of Xi'an metropolitan area.Different indicators are selected,emphasizing economic,cultural,ecological,health,transportation and other multi-angle spatial factor indicators.The scope of the definition is different.After 20 years of development,the scope of the Xi'an metropolitan area has changed.
