Research On The Status Quo Of Urbanization Of Land-lost Farmers

Farmers refer to social members who have rural household registration and take agricultural production as their main means of livelihood and live in scattered rural areas.Citizen are those who have city census register and live inside city limits.They are usually engaged in labor of nonagricultural production.The difference between farmers and citizens is reflected in the difference in household registration,residence and production mode,which in turn brings the differences between the two groups in material level,lifestyle,spiritual civilization and other aspects.The differences between these two groups are rooted in China's dual household registration system and the differences between urban and rural development,which are also reflected in every aspect of China's urban and rural landscape.In the process of accelerating urbanization in China,there are constant frictions and many special groups are derived,among which land-lost farmers are one of them.With the expansion of urban scale and the extension of urban area,the non-agricultural land and the citizenization of farmers have become the inevitable outcome of the urbanization process,and the groups of land-lost farmers are also increasing.Solving the identity transformation of land-lost farmers concerns the quality of urbanization and ultimately restricts the construction and progress of the city.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the process of citizenization of land-lost farmers.Land-lost farmers are a special social group,for they are passive in the process of urbanization from the identity change from farmer to citizen.It seems that they became citizens in hukou identity,but actually in the way of thinking and behavior habits they still retains the characteristics of the traditional farmers.And in social rights they did not enjoy the treatment that to match the identity.Their life,work,security and other aspects have a big gap with the community,and the existence of these gaps is the lost farmers citizenization has not yet completed the embodiment.On the basis of reviewing related literature,this study in order to "promote the urbanization of land-lost farmers" as the core,based on the social quality theory on social and economic security,social cohesion,social inclusion and social empowerment and vision to the requirement of social development,from the land-lost farmers from the role of "farmers" to "citizens" transformation,using the 2015 Chinese general social survey for citizens and farmers in the two groups in such aspects as economy,politics,life of survey data,the comparative analysis in the process of urbanization of land-lost farmers group in and citizen groups in the city life of differences: In terms of cultural quality,land-lost farmers have lower education level,poorer mandarin listening and speaking ability.In the aspect of occupation,their occupation condition is not stable.Their occupation income is low,and lacks the employment safeguard.In terms of economic level,they are characterized by low income,low evaluation of economic level and inactive investment activities;In terms of lifestyle,their leisure activities are single and social activities are few.In terms of social security,their participation rate of medical insurance and old-age insurance is low,and they pay more attention to basic services,such as employment,basic social services and social management.In terms of political participation,the proportion of party members and trade union members is low and their enthusiasm for voting is high.In terms of cognitive concepts,their social morality needs to be improved.At the same time,their self-class identity is weak.And They still retain their traditional ideas.Based on this,this paper analyzes the factors affecting the process of citizenization of land-lost farmers from five aspects: policy formulation,government work,community support,vulnerable groups,and social environment.And then,the article puts forward Suggestions to promote the citizenization of land-lost farmers: supplement and improve the land expropriation compensation system: to provide the necessary resources for the citizenization of land-lost farmers led by the government;the community move to promotes the individual adaptation and the survival ability of land-lost farmers;the land-lost farmers rely on their own efforts to improve the ability and confidence of urban life;to foster more inclusive and harmonious social environment.The citizenization of land-lost farmers is a gradual process,which needs the joint efforts of individuals,communities and even the whole society,and is based on the multi-dimensional support of material,policy,system and spirit.
