Urbanization is the important symbol on the advancement of human civilization and objective requirement of our nation's economy & society development. From 1980s, urbanization sprung up unprecedented, the urban space expended rapidly. To ensure the requirement of land for urban developing, considerable land was levied. Anew social weak mess ----- farmer who lost the land-----was brought forth andexpended rapidly. To which, you say they are farmer but they haven't already had land;or you say they are not farmer, they could only be wondering around the edges of the cities. Their bad living conditions and helplessness facing to the future stirs up us to worry and deliberate.Under the current levying land system, levying the farmer's land means that the land ownership altered from the original collective ownership into the eternal national ownership. Hundreds of thousands of years, the two words whoserelationship likes the blood and water or teeth and lip-----farmer and land-----wasdisjoined. After the land being levied, they were settled by currency, but their employment problem wasn't solved properly. Considerable people changed from the farmers who lost the land into the unemployed workers without unemployment insurance and fell into the unavailable position.Farmer is the participator and constructor of urbanization, who should also be the beneficiaries from the urbanization. For urbanization, solving the farmer problem is the first priority. We should adopt efficient measures to protect the benefits of those farmers who lost land. The writer acquired some new knowledge through these elementary studying and discussing. This article is departed into four sections. The first section introduces the elementary knowledge about urbanization and then drawing out the losing land farmer problem;The second section describes the current conditions farmer who lost land faced in our country;The third section analyzes the problems existing in the course of levying land;The forth section, based on those above-mentioned analysis , puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to solve the benefit insurance problem of fanner who lost land.
