S is a manufacturing company with 38 years of history specializing in elevators,goods elevators,medical elevators,and villa elevators.Customer-oriented,committed to providing safe and reliable elevator products and related services make it takes an important position in the industry.However,in recent years,the elevator industry has become increasingly fiercely competitive and the means of competition have become more diversified and complicated due to the market environment.The competitive means of reducing the price of products by squeezing the profit margins of suppliers has become unsustainable.New product development and production is imperative,an accurate forecasts and rapid response are necessary for the market direction.Based on the basic theories of R&D project management and System Dynamics theory,this paper analyzes the problems existing in new product R&D management of S company through analyzing the process,characteristics and management status of new product R&D projects.Among which the most important issue is the R&D personnel management.Therefore,the paper focuses on the study of major issues that affect R&D personnel investment and schedule control.Through analysis of dynamic simulation systems,improvement measures for the management of new product R&D personnel were proposed.In the research and development of new product projects,S company needs to quickly and accurately make effective decisions and establish a dynamic simulation system through System Dynamics theory to provide a better perspective to help stakeholders understand the processes and features of the complex project management especially for R&D personnel management,and work out more effective R&D personnel management strategies with the dynamic simulation system.At the end of this article,through the analysis of the actual optimization results of S Company's R&D project management,making a conclusion that Systematic Dynamics theory can be popularized and applied in the management of new product R&D projects of S Company and put forward the best way for new product R&D project management combining with the actual situation of S Company.
