SMEs play an important role in stimulating economic growth, creating employment, participating in scientific and technological innovation, and occupy a strategic position in China's economic and social development system. As the first driver for economic development in the new stage, innovation is the source of the development and prosperity for SMEs.At present,China vigorously promotes the supply-side structural reform, encourages enterprises to pay attention to supply quality, provides a huge development opportunity for manufacturing enterprises, and points out the development direction.SMEs need to pay more attention to the R&D and innovation process of products to better meet the people's growing needs. However, due to the limitations of SMEs' scale and characteristics, they are faced with constraints in terms of personnel, property and information in the complex innovation activities. The concept of corporate social capital proposed in the late 1990 s focuses on the network formed by enterprises and their stakeholders. It believes that the network contains actual or potential resources and performance that are beneficial to the development of the enterprise, which means an opportunity for SMEs.Therefore,it is necessary to explore the impact and influence mechanism of social capital on SMEs innovation performance on the current situation in China. This paper takes China's manufacturing SMEs as the research object, and based on relevant theories, sort out existing research on the relationship between corporate social capital, human capital, product innovation and organizational commitment. The research shows that the relationship between social capital and product innovation performance is affected by many variables.Through theoretical analysis, this paper introduces human capital as a mediator and organizational commitment as a moderator, and takes the structuraldimension, relationship dimension and cognitive dimension of social capital as independent variable, product innovation performance as the dependent variable. And then research hypothesis is put forward and the theoretical model is constructed.Based on the existing research results, the questionnaire of this paper was designed.Through the small-scale pre-research and consulting business managers, the final questionnaire was revised and confirmed, and the data needed for the research was collected through the field and network again. After eliminating the invalid data,we first use SPSS24.0 to conduct descriptive analysis and reliability test on the questionnaire, and then use AMOS24.0 to conduct CFA to ensure that the structure was consistent with the data, and the validity test was performed. Then the path analysis and hypothesis verification of the constructed SEM are carried out. Finally,we test mediating effect and moderating effect.Based on the empirical analysis, the main conclusions are as follows: The structural dimension, relational dimension and cognitive dimension of the social capital have a positive impact on the product innovation performance. In this process, the corporate human capital has played a partial mediation role;organizational commitment plays a positive moderating role in the relationship between social capital and human capital except cognitive dimension.According to results, this paper suggests that China's manufacturing SMEs should strengthen the contact with other organizations, pay attention to the human capital training of employees within enterprises, pay attention to cultivation of employee organizational commitment, and then improve SMEs' product innovation performance, stimulate the vitality of SMEs.
