Research On The Development Of Sichuan Tourist Characteristic Towns From The Perspective Of Global Tourism

Tourism,as a highly comprehensive industry category,has a strong driving force in consumption guidance,industrial integration,value enhancement,ecological environmental protection,residents' happiness and so on.Nowadays,China's tourism industry has officially ushered in a new era of comprehensive development,such as mass tourism era,new normal era,population aging era,big data era,shared economy era,high-speed transportation era and post-industrial era.These distinct characteristics of the times are not only significant opportunities for tourism development,but also great challenges in all aspects.With the remarkable improvement of residents' living standards,the consumption demand for tourism has begun to show explosive growth,which promotes the tourism industry to continuously expand the new space for tourism development,innovate the tourism industry format,extend the tourism industry chain,and enrich the tourism product projects to meet the huge demand of the tourism market.Under this development background and trend,Sichuan,as one of the underdeveloped areas with abundant tourism resources in the western region,should seize the historical opportunity,recognize the basic status quo,establish development goals,and fully tap the abundant tourism resources in various regions by combining the driving role of Sichuan "100 Towns Construction Action" in small towns and rural areas,and guide small towns with tourism characteristics to develop rapidly.Development,and then speed up the pace of Sichuan's global tourism construction.Based on the current situation of tourism characteristic towns in Sichuan Province,this paper objectively analyses and expounds the development status of tourism characteristic towns from the following aspects: wide spatial distribution,co-driven by resources,environment and economic development;exceptionally rich tourism resources,the rudiment of pan-tourism industry cluster;the effect of urbanization is obvious,the function of urban tourism is improved;the mechanism is constantly improved,and the mode of government market operation is gradually optimized.Although with the proposal and implementation of "100 Towns Construction Action" and the construction of small towns with provincial characteristics,Sichuan's urbanization construction has made some achievements,but there are still various problems restricting the rapid development of urbanization and tourism.It is still facing many difficulties to guide the development of small towns with tourism characteristics and promote the process of new urbanization.Therefore,it is proposed that the development of small towns with tourism characteristics in Sichuan is at present.The main problems need to be solved are: uneven distribution of spatial resources,large gap in regional economic development level;serious homogenization of industries,immature pan-tourism industrial clusters;slow urbanization of tourism,non-prominent functions of urban tourism;low level of comprehensive tourism management,and imperfect multi-subject coordination mechanism.Moreover,through a brief analysis of the tourism characteristic towns at home and abroad from different aspects,the main Enlightenments of their development are as follows: formulating detailed development plans,actively integrating into regional tourism development;guiding the dislocation development of tourism and promoting the coordinated development of industry;improving the basic service function of small towns and shaping unique tourism brands;establishing a cooperative development mechanism to give small towns the right to independent development.By referring to its successful development experience and combining with the existing problems of Sichuan tourism characteristic towns,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for the development of Sichuan tourism characteristic towns from the perspective of global tourism: adhering to the concept of global tourism development,giving full play to the engine role of tourism characteristic towns;integrating the global tourism resources,constructing pan-tourism industry cluster;enhancing the cultural function of communities,and strengthening the tour function of characteristic towns;clarifying the authority of government and market,and establishing a multi-management service mechanism.
