Operation Optimization Research In Asian Logistics Center Of L Company

logistics operation efficiency and stock level are the key indicators to measure the logistics level of a company.with the integration of global economy,more and more multinational companies outsource their production,focus on supply chain management and logistics operation,they sell products all over the world.Because of the fierce competition,and rigor requirement of customers,the traditional logistics operation model can not meet customer and market competition requirement.so how to integrate supply chain,optimize logistics process,improve efficiency,reduce inventory cost become the key task of logistics management in multinational companies.If L company wants to suecced in global competition,it needs to improve operation effiency in Asian logistics center.Through study of logistics process in Asian cener,I get to know that the operation of Asian Center has many problems,the failure of Inbound KPI,cause backlog of incoming goods;the decline of outbound efficiency,goods can not be delivered on time;meanwhile overstock arises the more storage fee and stock loss.all these affect the logistics operation of L company,need to be solved urgently.Asian logistics center not only has problem in process,but also the facilities and management methods are outdated.this paper studies the academic literature both home and abroad,base on the theories of logistics management?stock management,introduce logistics information technology?order picking system and stock optimization status.then analysis the current situation of Asian Center in L company,the root cause of these problems,seeking methods to solve.At last this article through the logistics information technology,improve the Inbound GR efficiency;improve the stock keeping and order picking method,improve Outbound efficiency;using ABC classification and safety stock theories,optimize stock management in Asian Center.By using JIT logistics concept,suppliers deliver goods to Logistics Center on time,and load goods into containers on time,reduce stock keeping time,reduce the warehousing cost.finally get the result: meeting the customer service level,improve Inbound and Outbound operation efficiency,reduce operation cost,present an operation optimization model for multinational companies...
