With the rapid development of society and technology, the quality of life has increasingly improved, as well as the growing trend of e-commerce. So, consumer demand is numerous and consumption habits have gradually changed. The consumption patterns of different consumers and individuation are becoming mainstreams. Meanwhile, the consumers gradually change to "offline experience+ online buy" model.In this environment, enterprises operating of electricity supplier must adapt to mixed orders, shorter response cycle, higher productivity, more reliable distribution and other distinctive services.In this context, logistics distribution center that is constructed by electricity supplier come into being. Order picking is often the most labor-intensive (manual sorting system) or the most capital-intensive (automatic picking system) jobs in electricity supplier logistics distribution centers. Therefore, order picking is the highest cost job in all jobs. To reduce operating costs and improve efficiency, we can get a multiplier effect by improving order picking.To solve this problem systematically, the research combines current picking operations research theory with management practice and refers foreign research in this field. Multidisciplinary approach and views also have been consulted in the research. Starting from the core jobs (order batching and picking route optimization) in order picking, using the method of combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis, constructing mathematical models, system clustering algorithm analysis, optimization algorithm and case study validates the conclusion of the research. The main contents are as follows:(1)Studying on order batching model and optimization method. Aiming at the maximum similarity degree of orders in every batch, mathematical model of order batching has been established. Using system clustering algorithm to analyze this problem, order batching has been completed.(2)Studying on picking route model and optimization method. On the basis of order batching above, aiming at the minimum total distance of picking route, mathematical model of picking route problem has been established. Different heuristic algorithm of picking route models has been studied systematically and proposed a combination design of hybrid particle swarm optimization and heuristic algorithm. Therefore, picking route optimization has been completed.(3)Through the study of K pharmaceutical industry electricity distribution centers practical engineering problems, the approach in dealing with practical engineering problems has been verified effectively.The results show new effective ideas and methods in order batching and picking route optimization in electricity supplier logistics distribution center. The traditional order picking method has obviously been improved. Therefore, this research has certain innovative and theoretical value.
