Research On The Measurement Of Logistics Efficiency In China's Provinces And Regions And Its Influencing Factors

Modern logistics industry is the product of economic globalization and an important service to promote globalization.Modern logistics is considered to be the "third profit source" besides raw materials and labor force in developed countries,and it is also a new engine for economic development.According to the data of China Logistics Purchasing and Association,compared with developed countries,The proportion of total cost of logistics in GDP in China has changed from 18% to 18%,which is much higher than the global average of 6.5%,and it is also higher than that of BRICS countries in which the level of economic development is basically the same.Internally,the logistics costs of China's provinces and regions also account for a high proportion.Due to the different levels of logistics development among provinces and regions,The logistics efficiency of each province also has a certain gap.Therefore,it has a very positive significance to study the logistics efficiency and its influencing factors in 31 provinces of our country,reduce the regional logistics cost,narrow the development gap of regional logistics industry,and improve the logistics efficiency of all provinces in China as a whole.This paper first introduces the research background,significance,domestic and foreign logistics efficiency related research results,and then makes a comparison and analysis on the status of input and output of logistics industry in the provinces and regions of our country.Then it is proposed to use data Envelopment Analysis(DEA)to evaluate the efficiency of logistics industry in various provinces and regions.How to establish and apply the fixed-scale reward model(CCR)and the variable-scale reward model(BCC)in data Envelopment Analysis(DEA)are introduced in detail,and then the input-output index is constructed.Using DEAP Version2.1 to measure the efficiency of logistics industry in 31 provinces and cities in China in the past 12 years,it is concluded that Its comprehensive efficiency,pure technical efficiency,scale efficiency.Then,the influencing factors of logistics efficiency are analyzed,and six factors,such as the level of economic development,logistics informatization,logistics resource input,logistics resource utilization ratio,location entropy and government intervention,are selected.Tobit regression is used to analyze the influence degree of these factors on logistics efficiency,and the level of economic development,informatization and location entropy have a positive impact on logistics efficiency.Finally,on the basis of empirical study,this paper summarizes the research,and in view of the low efficiency in the development of logistics industry,combined with the reality of our country,puts forward some suggestions to improve logistics production efficiency.
