Residents’ And Visitors’ Perception Of Tourism Impacts In Tourist Island Community

With the gradual transition of China’s tourism research to an ethical platform,tourism industry has shifted from the application and management of an economic activity to the tourism effect.More and more attention has been paid to the "people" factor in tourism research,among which,the satisfaction of residents and visitors becomes one of the main measurement indexes to evaluate the development of tourism industry directly.Sanya City,Hainan Province has been selected as a study case from the angles of the residents’ and tourist’ perceptions with the dual perspective to find out the satisfaction of expectations and the actual difference formation mechanism,influencing factors and behavior as a result by using SPSS analysis method on the basis of first-hand data collection.This research established a conceptual Model of Residents’ Satisfaction in Tropical Island Tourism Community,and then put forward the research hypothesis and model verification.Finally,it concluded that the ways to improve the local residents’ satisfaction is strengtenning their home attachement,fair to earn the bonus of tourism development income and share the negative impact of tourism development costs.At the same time,paying attention to the management of tourists’ expectation,correctly understanding the connotation of tourists’ loyalty and improving the value of transferring tourists are important means to improve the satisfaction.Both of those advices is good for building a harmonious tourism community and socialist harmonious society.This paper may provide a reference sample for tourism science scholars for further study.
