As one of the three major markets of the tourism industry,the inbound tourism market can not only increase the visibility of the destination,enhance its image,but also bring foreign exchange income and stimulate the economic growth of other related industries.Therefore,in order to promote the rapid and rational development of Xinjiang's inbound tourism,it is of practical significance to study the changes in the consumption structure of inbound tourism in Xinjiang.Based on the classical theories such as Maslow's demand theory and tourisim consumption structure theory,this paper uses qualitative literature review method,tourism consumption structure change degree,tourism consumption structure advanced index,tourism consumption structure location entropy,tourism consumption structure information entropy,tourism consumption.Statistical deviation methods such as structural deviation-share are used for lateral measurement analysis and longitudinal measurement analysis.The latest tourism related data of Xinjiang Inbound Tourism from 2008 to 2017 was selected to discuss the influencing factors,existing problems and suggestions for optimizing the inbound tourism consumption in Xinjiang.On this basis,this paper analyzes the status quo of inbound tourism development in Xinjiang in the past 10 years,from the horizontal and vertical aspects.The horizontal measurement analysis finds that there is a general decline in the per capita consumption of inbound tourism in Xinjiang,transportation and shopping.The expenditure is in the first place in the per capita consumption of inbound tourism in Xinjiang,and the structural change of consumption factors has fluctuated.The consumption structure advanced index and non-basic consumption ratio have not increased significantly;Xinjiang inbound tourism consumption has achieved a certain degree of development,including the professionalism of the shopping sector.Strong,the professional sector of the entertainment sector is weak;the proportion of the basic consumer sector is large,and the proportion of the non-basic consumer sector is small.Longitudinal measures analysis found that: compared with the country,shopping,accommodation,catering and other service sectors are the main source of inbound tourism consumption in Xinjiang;the postal and telecommunications and entertainment sectors have strong potential competitiveness but a small share.According to the analysis of the measurement results,it is found that the changes in the consumption structure of inboundtourism in Xinjiang are affected by factors such as the economic,natural resources,traffic conditions,industrial scale,major or unexpected events,and national policies of the tourist destination.Based on the analysis of the influencing factors and the analysis of the problems,it is found that the urgent work needs to be: improve the transportation sector infrastructure and improve competitiveness;establish a brand image to enhance the attraction;promote the humanized management of the hotel industry to meet the needs of tourists;Highlight local catering features,create new business cards;open special shopping models to promote sustainable development;stimulate tourists' entertainment needs and enhance professionalism;strengthen communication facilities and improve convenience;improve tourism public service system and strengthen service awareness.
