With the continuous development, Tourism in China in recent years gradually become the main factors of economic growth, while increasing the proportion of the national economy gradually in process of the prosperity, the inbound tourism has always been the key point of the development of the tourism industry. From the beginning of the new century, great changes have taken place in the international economic situation, in the international severe economic downturn trend, China’s inbound tourism development is still in a stable trend, but in the face of lower foreign economic growth, RMB is mighty, the inbound tourism market should be how to develop, how to ensure the sustainable development of the tourism industry has become the key problem faced by the influence of inbound tourism income factors. According to income for the product price and demand, this paper mainly studies the influence factors of price and demand, selecting exchange rate and six factors of tourism consumption as factors. This paper choose Shanxi province inbound tourism income as an example, starting from the impact of exchange rate on the inbound tourism income, taking the change of various elements and consumption structure of inbound tourism revenue to further analysis, then finding the influencing factors of Shanxi inbound tourism income,Making an assurance that the inbound tourism has an sustainable development. The full paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter introduces the research background and significance of this paper, the issues discuss briefly the development of tourism in Shanxi province and the problem of the development, and introduces the theory, including the regression analysis of the relevant data, the Cointegration test, the exchange rate theory, the concept of price elasticity. The second chapter introduces the domestic and abroad earnings of the research in recent years on the impact of exchange rate, and the research articles about the inbound tourism consumption structure. The fourth chapter uses Eviews6.0 software to construct cointegration equation, using cointegration to fulfilling the empirical test of the relationship between inbound tourism income of Shanxi province and China and exchange rate, using knowledge of the exchange rate and price elasticity to give the analysis of the empirical results. With the results of the analysis, researching the composition of Shanxi province inbound tourism income and the national’s, finding the changes of consumption structure and study the important factors of inbound tourism development of Shanxi. The fifth Chapter put forward the development direction of inbound tourism in Shanxi province. In the end, combined with the analysis of the above the conclusions list the deficiencies and the need to continue the study and improving direction.
