In the context of current world economic environment,enterprises are facing extremely ever-changing,diverse and urgent demands from clients.The Japanese-style production model(SERU),which is a novel mode of production adopted by enterprises in order to adapt to complex and changeable social environment can quickly build,modify,dismantle and reconfigure manufacturing cell more frequently to cope with unstable business environments(short production cycles,uncertain product types and uncertain production volumes).Comparing SERU with cell manufacturing(CM),Scholars recognized that SERU system covers and extends all aspects of CM system.SERU is a complete product production unit which does not need to be processed across units.Based on the analysis of early/delayed penalty,a new SERU manufacturing cell is proposed,which is more in line with the current situation of manufacturing enterprises.On top of the Japanese Manufacturing method and the suggestion proposed by Suer et all,the mathematical model is built.And hypothesizes such as products are delivered on time and punished by E/T,adjustment time required by the equipment because of existence of different products and division of manufacturing units are added into this model.In this paper,several examples are divided into different groups according to the number of units.Mixed chicken swarm teaching and learning algorithm is adopted to study the problem of SERU product quantity optimization considering E/T penalty.A certain number of units,processing order and time limit are formed.Finally,compared with the basic chicken swarm algorithm and the basic teaching and learning algorithm,the results show that the hybrid algorithm has better results.Hybrid algorithm has advantages in the best solution,the averagesolution and the average calculation time.At the same time,in order to increase the readability of the calculation results,the gantt chart is used to visualize units and process sequence.In the research of this paper,the SERU cell manufacturing method is effectively used to arrange the manufacturing order of the products punished by E/T.The factors that are not considered in this model,such as multi-skilled worker problem,job shop scheduling problem,inventory and transportation need to be further studied and supplemented.
