Since e-commerce warehousing is a key part of fulfilling customer orders,it's playing a more and more important role in quality controlling on e-commerce products and services.Taobao/Jingdong/VIP,as leaders in China's e-business,are running their own warehouses now.As a result of the white-hot competition in e-commercial and the closed eyes of Chinese government on this industry,M company needs to find out a way to enhance the products' quality selling on M website.According to the feedback from early sellers,who had tried the M warehousing service,it was not efficient.In order to develop the M warehousing service and enhance the competitive,an improvement on warehousing business process is a brook no delay task.M company offers clothes/bags/shoes for young ladies on website.After merging with L company at the end of 2015,M company got the warehousing management team as well as warehouses in Guangzhou and Shanghai.In 2016,it began to run a new business--e-commerce warehousing service,to fulfill customer orders from M website.As a new project,there's a space for improvement.In this thesis,we take refer to theories on warehousing operation and process improvement,which will be introduced firstly.Secondly,we analyze the process of M warehousing service and how it runs by drawing process chart.Thirdly,make up an optimization proposal on process by guided with SIPOC & ASME.Finally,we will set up a team to carry out the new process and evaluate what it will achieve.In summary,this paper is an execution of process optimization theories and tools on e-commerce warehousing service.Its successfully launch,to an extent,could be a good example in this field.
