The national standard Logistics Terminology defines the supply chain as the network structure formed by upstream and downstream enterprises involved in provision of products or services to end users in production and circulation process.In short,the supply chain is an abstract concept that covers the whole process from raw material procurement to product manufacturing,distribution logistics,and terminal distribution.Supply chain management is an innovation to traditional management.For a long time,the definition of supply chain management has divided the academic circle without an agreed conclusion.However,supply chain management is crucial to enterprise operation management.It plays a prominent role in helping enterprises to integrate internal and external resources,reduce operating cost,improve customer satisfaction and bring their core advantages into play,so that enterprises can fully demonstrate their core competitiveness in the market.At present,some traditional industries have been exploring the use of Internet platforms and information and communication technology to combine supply chain management with big data applications effectively,with the view of expanding the growth space of corporate profit.Demand analysis is a very important position in an enterprise's supply chain management department,so it is necessary to establish a set of clear standards to guide the cultivation,selection and management of personnel who take this position.Traditional experience and temporary measures alone can not address the demand of improving enterprise management.Some enterprises have taken steps to cultivate professional supply chain managers,but still lack of plans for the construction of the specific post and business team;some enterprises even do not have the demand analysis position,the functions of which are simply scattered to other day-to-day business departments.Generally speaking,there is a certain gap between domestic and foreign companies in the selection,development and performance evaluation of demand analysis personnel.Taking the supply chain management and demand analysis post of a real enterprise as the research object,this paper,based on competence-related theories and research approaches,analyzes and extracts the competency elements of demand analysis post,and establishes a competency model,providing enterprises the basis and criteria for the selection,training and assessment of relevant personnel.Meanwhile,this study can benefit supply chain demand analysis personnel in improving professional skills,and promote enterprises to strengthen their scientific management of employees.In this paper,28 models which reflect the competency characteristics of demand analysis post holders are built at four levels by taking demand analysis post holders of a company as the object through methods such as behavior event interview,questionnaire and focus group discussion.This paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter Introduction briefs the background and significance of this study,and introduces the research principle,methods and characteristics of this paper.The second chapter summarizes and reviews the competence studies by scholars at home and abroad.The third and fourth chapters analyze and discuss respectively the basic theory of competence and the supply chain and demand analysis post.The fifth and six chapters constitute the core part of this paper.In this part,statistical analysis is made on data obtained from investigation on a real enterprise,based on which competency characteristics of the demand analysis post are extracted,and an unique competency model for the post is established.This paper has the following characteristics.First,the competence model of supply chain demand analysis post is explored and established using competence principles and theory,based on the in-depth analysis and understanding on the business quality and ability development of a real enterprise's supply chain demand analyst post holders.Second,this paper provides management basis for scientific competence assessment on similar posts by similar enterprises,and lays a foundation for them to assess post competency properly and enhance management in an all-round manner.The disadvantage of this paper is that the samples are taken and studied from only one company where the author works,so the applicability of the competency model needs to be further verified by more samples.Restricted by the author's statistical knowledge,there may be deviation from reality in the data results and interpretation of statistical data.
