Study On Pull System Application In Traditional Small And Medium-Sized Manufacturing Private Enterprises

Traditional small and medium-sized manufacturing private enterprises have their place in the tide of products’ madding in china,and they are required to enhance their management level and manufacturing capability driven by increasingly market shares and abroad orders.During the corporation with foreign companies,private enterprises begin to realize the importance of lean production system for companies’ transformation and upgrading.They try to introduce lean production system to their employees and build up their lean business system by learning it.Lean production system has been proved to be an efficient way to help companies to improve their management system and maximum their benefits,with 30-year-practice and exploration by Toyota Motor.Facing the transformation requirement by traditional small and medium-sized manufacturing private enterprises,the whole lean-transformation steps could be applied to different industrials and production lines through customized adjustments,and their own lean production systems would be built up.This article discusses the implement approach from traditional batch production to pull production system,and analyses in three elements of JIT(also known as Just-in-time)as takt time,continuous flow and pull system.It explains how to set up the whole pull system step by step through eliminating the wastes in production processes.It makes a pull system application case as an example to show the specific steps and key points and sums up experience and lessons to get higher success rate of pull system implementation.
