Research On Tourism Development Of Fenghuang Village, Jinkou Town, Jimo

As urban groups’ work pressure and the pace of life are increasing,rural tourism in the suburbs is booming.Some ancient villages have become the targets of tourism development.These villages are of colorful historical and cultural sources and ancient buildings carrying historical memories and traditional culture.Tourism in old villages will help tourists release work stress,and easily trigger their nostalgia.However,in the process of tourism development of ancient villages,it is of vital importance to explore the placeness,fully consider the participation of local residents and the inheritance and development of local characteristics.This paper selects Fenghuang the old village in the town of Jinkou,Jimo city as the case place.Based on place and related conceptual theories,starting from the problems existing in the tourism development of Fenghuang village,by analyzing its historical development,this paper explores and interprets its placeness,and then puts forward relevant development suggestions from the place perspective.On the basis of field research and relevant literature and history materials,it is concluded that the material representation of the placeness of Fenghuang village is the ancient buildings of the Ming and Qing dynasties,while the non-material representation is the historical and cultural family inheritance of culture and education worship and filial piety.Based on this,to analyze the sense of the placeness,the place attachment,and the feedback for tourism development through the questionnaire and in-depth interviews.The study shows that different subjects of interest have high cognition of the place.The local residents and government have higher identity of tourism development and ancient buildings conservation,also the local residents have high emotional sense of place attachment,but the identity of place attachment for tourists is low.In view of the problems such as the unprofessional protection of ancient buildings and the local government’s development planning and governance in Fenghuang village’s tourism development,this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures from the aspects of highlighting local characteristics,avoiding uniformity,improving managerial wisdom,and strengthening community participation.In order to provide certain guidance and reference for the development of similar ancient village tourism.
