A Study On The Application And Significance Of Two Production Theories In The New Era

The two production theories have been seen as an essential part of historical materialism,acting as a significant position in the development of the Marxism.Based on the actual situation of economic and social development of capitalist countries at that moment,Marx and Engels revealed the scientific theory of social development on the basis of critically inheriting the thoughts of previous thinkers and scientifically summarizing the practice development process of human society.The two production theories play a vital role in solving the mystery of the historical development of human society and revealing the general rules of the evolution of human society and the vicissitudes of social systems.Starting from the “production and reproduction of direct life”---the key factors of the development of social history,the paper firstly sorts out the historical development of the two production theories.In the Umrisse zu einer Kritik der Nationalkonomie,Engels first pointed out that private ownership was the fundamental cause of the overpopulation of capitalist society from the perspective of the productivity and population relationship.It was also the initial definition between the two kinds of production theories;In German Ideology,Marx and Engels made a systematical elaboration on the historical materialism for the first time,and initially proposed two production theories.In Capital,Marx analyzed the specific performance of the basic contradiction between productivity and production relationship in capitalist production process and further developed two production theories.In the preface to The Origins of Family,Private Ownership,and State,Engels scientifically expounded the two production theories,clarified the specific connotations of the two kinds of production,analyzed the dialectic categories between the production of material and human self-production,and revealed the important function of the two production theories in social institutions as well as the process of dialectic development of two kinds of production in different social formation.Finally Engels highly summarized the science of the two production theories from germination,development to establishment.On the basis of the development of the two production theories,this paper will attempt to analyze and summarize the experiences and lessons of the two production theories in guiding the development of China's socialist construction from the establishment of new China to the 18 th CPC National Congress and it will lay a foundation for the two production theories in the new development and application in the practice of guiding socialism with Chinese characteristics since the 18 th CPC National Congress.It indicates that the new development theory is the sublimation of the two production theories under the background of the new era.It points out that the adjustment of the fertility policy and the cultivation of the comprehensive quality of the population in the new era are still the scientific practice of two production theories.It also clarifies the theoretical and practical significance of the two production theories in the new era.The two production theories are not only the scientific theories of dealing with the relationship between the production of material and human self-production and governing the development of social history,but also a vital guidance for the future development of socialism with Chinese characteristics.On the one hand,the practice is the source of cognition.With the changes of the main society contradictions in the new era,the two production theories need to be advanced and updated with the times,and we should consciously incorporate green development and ecological civilization into two production theories.We should expand the two production theories in innovation,coordination,green,openness,which is not only the correct measure to maintain the vitality of Marxism,but also provides a scientific method for us to better analyze and solve the socialist issues in the new era.On the other hand,amid the continuous advancement of the human civilization,we should perceive the changes in the connotation of human self-production.We must consciously incorporate the population quality production into the connotation of human self-production,and then we should realize that the comprehensive quality of the population will improve the modernization of socialism with Chinese characteristics.In the end,the high-quality professional talents will be the powerful weapon for our country to meet the new scientific and technological revolution and industrial revolution in the future.
