Performance Appraisal And Improvement Of Auchan Supermarket Chains' Cold Chain Suppliers Based On Centralized Procurement

Recent years,as the rapid advance of economy and technology,the supermarket chains have continuously innovated in the aspect of information technology.The proportion of GDP in the retail industry,including supermarket chains,to national GDP,is steadily increasing.Cold chain goods are becoming more and more important in the supermarket chains and,therefore,the requirements of supermarket chains for cold chain suppliers are becoming higher and higher.Purchasing,as the starting point in the operation of supermarket chains,plays an important role obviously.Supermarket chain adopts the centralized purchasing mode,not only plays a role in saving procurement costs,but also expands its appeal to cold chain suppliers.Therefore,establishing a complete set of assessment system and reward and punishment system based on the centralized procurement mode is an important guarantee for supermarket chains and cold chain suppliers to maintain long-term cooperation and achieve a win-win situation.This paper takes centralized purchasing as the starting point,and takes Auchan's cold chain suppliers as the research object,and putting forward several problems based on the research background of retail,supermarket chains and cold chain suppliers.In addition,analyzing the status of service and management of Auchan's cold chain suppliers under the centralized purchasing mode.On this basis,the necessity of performance appraisal and improvement of Auchan's cold chain suppliers is proposed.On the basis of existing literature and face to face interview,increasing the feedback index in the performance appraisal system,and establishing a performance appraisal index system of supermarket chain's cold chain suppliers based on the centralized purchasing mode.The credibility of the questionnaire data and the applicability of the factor analysis method are analyzed by SPSS software,on the basis of which the established performance appraisal system is revised..Through factor analysis method to determine the weight value and the weight coefficient of each index,and establishes performance appraisal model of supermarket chain's cold chain suppliers based on the centralized purchasing mode.Then,we select four representative cold chain suppliers of Auchan supermarket chains,and collect the qualitative and quantitative index data involved in the appraisal system,and evaluate the performance with performance appraisal model.Accordingto the score,Shanghai yimin trading co.,LTD.is the supplier with better performance.On this basis,we analyze the strengths and weaknesses of each cold chain supplier,and put forward strategies for performance improvement,including setting up the assessment department,establishing the incentive mechanism,classification management and establishing long-term strategic relationship,so as to achieve benefit sharing for both parties.
