How To Match The Strategic Logic And Resource Actions Of Manufacturing Enterprises?

Manufacturing industry is an important pillar of national economic development,With the advent of industry 4.0 era,manufacturing enterprises have attracted unprecedented attention,and more and more scholars are studying the service-oriented transformation and strategy behavior of manufacturing enterprises.Its strategic logic determines the choice of resource action and enterprise development mode.The existing researches lacks the inductions of the logic of manufacturing enterprises and the corresponding relationship between strategic logic and resource action,so they can hardly provide theoretical support for the development of the real economy.Based on the cognition-behavior research approach,this paper selected the qualitative comparative analysis(QCA)method,with the 68 manufacturing enterprises of CMCC as sample,with the configuration perspective as the core to study the matching relationship between strategic logic and resource action.It is of great significance for both theoretical and practical managers.This paper reveals that,there are five stable configurations between strategic logic and resource action among manufacturing enterprises.Under the guidance of eco-system orientation and capability orientation logic,the degree of enterprise resource orchestration is high,under the guidance of dependency orientation,opportunity orientation and policy orientation logic,the degree of enterprise resource orchestration is low.Besides,the performances of resource actions under the five logics have different characteristics,which are embodied in three aspects:resource acquisition,resource integration and resource utilization.Under the latter three kinds of logic,the enterprises can expand and strengthen the external relation network,build the core competence of the enterprise;make its strategic behavior conform to the development of external environment;use government financial subsidies and preferential policies reasonably and through other means to achieve the integrity of the resources orchestration.The government should also reasonably provide policy support and fund subsidies to enterprises according to their different characteristics under these logics.
