The development of China's traditional transportation equipment manufacturing industry relies more on abundant natural resources,low labor costs and positive policy support to obtain a competitive advantage in price.However,with the rising cost of natural resources and human resources and the increasing degree of marketization of the economy,the transportation equipment manufacturing industry urgently needs to acquire new and sustainable competitive advantages through technological innovation and development model innovation.It is a new development idea for the transformation and upgrading of transportation equipment manufacturing.However,the empirical research on the service of this industry is still relatively lacking,especially the literature on the impact of productivity is very few.So it is necessary to further study and explore.Based on the relevant research,this paper analyzes the theoretical and empirical aspects of the investment and service of China's transportation equipment manufacturing industry.Firstly,based on the basic theories of industrial economics,this paper analyzes the development of the interactive integration of productive service industry and manufacturing industry and the impact of China's transportation equipment manufacturing industry on productivity.From the perspective of the analysis,the internal motivation and mechanism are prooved,and the theoretical input indicates that the input service has a positive impact on the productivity improvement of China's transportation equipment manufacturing industry.Secondly,using the input-output method and calculating the correlation coefficient from the data of China's input-output table,we get the direct consumption coefficient and the complete consumption coefficient.Based on these,we further measure the service level of China's transportation equipment manufacturing industry.Then this index is included as a core explanatory variable in the econometric model of the CobbDouglas production function and do the empirical analysis of the time series data and panel data about the impact on the productivity of the transportation equipment manufacturing industry in the whole China and 30 provinces,municipalities and autonomous regions.By the way,this paper further analyses the degree of investment in transportation equipment manufacturing industry and the impact on productivity with different regions in China and the five major production service industries.The main innovations are: on the one hand,according to the classification standard of eastern,central and western regions,the provinces,municipalities and autonomous regions of China are divided into different models,and their regression results are compared and analyzed.On the other hand,according to China's statistical classification standards,The production services industry,which is the main input factor,is tentatively divided into five categories.And this paper attempts to further analyze the structural differences in the impact of different types of producer services on the productivity of transportation equipment manufacturing.Through empirical analysis,this paper believes:(1)The level of service input has no positive effect on productivity and its change range of transportation equipment manufacturing industry.(2)In the east,central and western regions at present stage,the service has not significant influence to the transportation equipment manufacturing productivity.It is also one of the reasons why the increase in the overall of service input did not play a positive role on the level of productivity.(3)From the perspective of structural differences,the investment degree of each producer service industry in China's transportation equipment manufacturing industry does not match its service demand,and there are structural differences in the impact on productivity.(4)Capital input has a positive impact on the productivity improvement of the transportation equipment manufacturing industry,while labor input has a negative impact.(5)To a certain extent,the improvement of foreign investment level can promote the development of productivity of China's transportation equipment manufacturing industry,which indicates that the expansion of foreign direct investment can be a feasible measure for the future.In view of the regional differences,structural differences and insufficient capital investment which are the main reasons why the core explanatory variables are not significant,this paper believes that we should do the following things in order to promote the development of service investment in China's transportation equipment manufacturing industry and the improvement of productivity.Firstly,it is necessary to adapt to local conditions to promote the differential transformation of the eastern,central and western regions of China;Secondly,it should be guided by the supply-side structural reforms,and adjust the investment level of the corresponding industries according to the specific needs of China's transportation equipment manufacturing industry for the production of service factors;Lastly,it is also necessary to increase the degree of opening up to the outside world.At the same time as the introduction of foreign capital,it is also possible to improve the level of support at the technical through the introduction of high-end producer services,and then promote the productivity of China's transportation equipment manufacturing industry.
