Today, the substitution of services industry for manufacturing as a new pillar ofworld economic growth has become an indisputable fact.As the fastest-growing andbiggest share of service industry, producer services’status in the national economy isalso rising. As a standard measure of national and regional competitiveness, equipmentmanufacturing industry shows the trend of servitization, in recent years. interactiveintegration of these two industries become the future trend. As the national equipmentmanufacturing base, Shenyang comply with the tendency of the development ofproducer service. Realize the coordinated development of producer services andequipment manufacturing industry in Shenyang is the necessary requirement ofindustrial upgrading and strategic adjustments.This paper is based on in-depth study on the theory of producer services andequipment manufacturing industry, in the domesticand foreign countries, combines withthe description the coordination mechanisms between the two industries. Based on theactual situation of Shenyang City, this dissertation analyses present situation andproblems of in the development of producer services and equipment manufacturingindustry.In this paper, a comprehensive evaluation of producer services and equipmentmanufacturing industry are obtained though factor analysis, and the level ofCoordinated development between producer services and equipmen manufacturingindustry is calculated in accordance with the Capacitive coupling. the results indicatethat producer services and equipment manufacturing industry in Shenyang is in theprimary level of development. The interaction of the two major industries developmentperformance is not obvious. According to the regression equation and Granger causalitytest, the mode of coordinated development between producer services and equipmentmanufacturing industry is revealed.The results suggest that in the short term producerservices and equipment manufacturing industry conform to the theory of "decided bydemand" in the long term conform to the theory of "interactive" theory. The equipmentmanufacturing industry promote the development of producer services more than the producer services promote the development of equipment manufacturing industry.Producer service lags behind the development of the equipment manufacturing industry.Based on the conclusions of empirical analysis countermeasures and suggestionsare proposed to promote the coordinated development of producer services andequipment manufacturing industry.
