| As China’s economy develops into the new style,the speed of which has dropped from rapid speed to high-speed growth.Time has gone when economy development puts GDP at the first place.Economic development is faced with a series of problems because of the heavy consumption and high pollution of extensive pattern.It’s urgency to transform the mode of economic development in order to break the limit of the realistic problem.Over the past,developing economy by investment has not only caused serious consequences like overcapacity and idle resources,but also hindered the quality of economic growth.Therefore,there is a growing call for promoting the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure to promote the economy quality based on the supply-side reform.To investigate whether industrial transformation and upgrading can significantly improving the quality of economic growth,this paper takes research based on statistics in Jiangsu province from 2000 to 2016.This paper estimates the direction of industrial transformation by the index of industrial upgrading and Structural advance factor,and estimates the speed of industrial transformation by Structural hierarchy coefficient and the value of More and the model of Lilien.This paper also estimates the quality of economy development by Component analysis and DEA model.The central theme is the relationship between the upgrading of industrial structure and the quality of economy development directly and indirectly.This paper comparatively analyzes the differences between regions to provide references for theoretical analysis and research hypothesis.The conclusion shows that industrial transformation and upgrading can significantly improving the quality of economic growth.The mechanism of action is mainly manifested in two aspects,including direct and indirect mechanism.The theoretical basis of direct effect arises from Marx’s theory of industrial structure and theory of surplus value,as well as the factor endowment theory and value chain theory.The theoretical basis of direct effect arises from the effect of structure bonus.This paper puts forward four policy Suggestions:(1)Impove the stability of industrial transformation and Upgrading;(2)Promoting balanced development in industrial transformation and upgrading is essential;(3)Combining the improvement of economic quality and industrial transformation and upgrading;(4)Focusing on improving labor productivity. |
