Depend on development of financial information, increasingly mature information systems and Internet finance have provided convenient conditions for centralized management of funds.Under the traditional fund management mode, the funds of the group companies are more dispersed and difficult to manage.More and more enterprises choose centralized management of funds to achieve optimal allocation of resources. How to choose the fund management mode suitable for their own development is an urgent problem to be solved, and enterprises should pay attention to how to continuously optimize the management mode in practice and maximize the effectiveness of centralized fund management. This paper introduces the relevant theoretical basis, important significance and practical results of centralized management of funds. With "lean management" as the main guiding ideology, this paper analyzes the centralized management mode of CAT China,a more advanced enterprise group, and finds its existended problems such as optimal fund concentration, low efficiency of information transmission, high risk of fixed asset investment and high dependence on information systems etc.And corresponding optimization measures have been proposed from the aspects of management system, staffing, business processes and information systems. This paper further analyzes the centralized management mode of funds from the perspectives of enterprise groups, subsidiaries and financial sharing centers,in order to provide some theoretical basis for the Group to achieve a win-win situation as a whole, and try to extend this research to the manufacturing sector to enrich the relevant research in the industry and provide some guiding significance for the company in practice.
